My site redfoxlotto.com is set up with 35 language translations. I do all my translations manually.
Is there a way of using the WPML translation functions to create a file containing ONLY the English original pages, posts, FAQ?
What I mean, if I were going to proceed as if I wanted a third party to translate, can I somehow send a file with all the English content to myself for translation?
And also, in the same way as above, can I create the same file for the other languages, meaning one such file per each one of the languages?
Before your ticket is assigned to one of my colleagues, please allow me to walk you through some initial debugging steps. This will help speed up the support process.
You can export translation jobs for external translation but not the whole content at once.
If you are the admin of the site, make yourself a translation manager and translator. Then send translation jobs to yourself and export XLIFF files then import again after translation.
To export XLIFF files in other languages, you can do that by sending the translation jobs in other languages, as shown in the attached screenshot. You can select whatever language you need to create the XLIFF file and send the content in that language. (The provided doc links already to this page: https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/).
Hope that helps 🙂
