[Resolved] Settinmg automatic translation or not for parts in woocommerce
This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: The client is developing a site and wants to set up automatic translation for WooCommerce elements such as orders, refunds, posts, and subscriptions. They also want to ensure that all frontend elements, including multilingual emails, are translated correctly. Solution: We recommended checking our WooCommerce Multilingual & Multicurrency guide for general setup and specifically our guide on how to translate WooCommerce emails for email translations. For subscription products, we provided a guide to ensure correct translation setup: Translating WooCommerce Subscriptions. We clarified that actual subscriptions should not be translated as the client will only have one subscription regardless of the language.
Please note that this solution might be outdated or not applicable to your specific case. We highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Shall I set the "automatic translation" for WooCommerce elements like orders, refunds, and subscriptions?
How can I ensure that multilingual emails are translated correctly?

Thanks for the links! I now have a better understanding.
I have a quick question about subscriptions: The subscription products are translated because they are visible to users, but the actual subscriptions are not. Is this setting correct, and will it work without causing any issues?
The actual subscription shouldn't be translated because the client will only have a subscription (regardless of the language) and not one subscription in each language.
Hi,
Yes, I know this, here the subscription products are described, but how to proceed with the subscriptions itself, they are managed in the backend and are part of the order, but are not shown to the user. Shall they be set translatable also, or is this not needed?
Thanks, kind regards
Eric
