This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
You are using the Divi Events Module plugin from Pee Aye Creative and are unable to translate some modules.
Solution:
Usually you translate the strings for each Divi Module together with your content using the WPML Translation Editor. This was an edge case, as these strings are not coming directly from the module, but instead from the plugin directly. First, scan the plugin for new strings by navigating to WPML > Theme & Plugin Localization. After scanning, you can translate the strings using the WPML String Translation module. For guidance on how to translate strings, visit the WPML String Translation guide.
In some instances, you may need to adjust the source language of the strings. For instructions on how to do this, check out How to Change the Source Language of Strings.
If this solution does not resolve your issue, or if it seems outdated or irrelevant to your specific case, we highly recommend opening a new support ticket. Additionally, please check related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verify the version of the permanent fix, and confirm that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. For further assistance, you can also visit our support forum.

Hi There! Before this thread gets assigned to my colleague, I'd like to offer some initial guidance or potential solutions. I understand the issue you're experiencing. Please note that the Divi Events Calendar plugin you are using is not listed in WPML's compatible plugin directory. Since this plugin has not been tested by our team, there may be compatibility issues with WPML that we are unaware of. However, as it is a Divi-based module, it may require additional steps to add WPML support to translate the content added through its modules effectively. For guidance on how to add WPML support to Divi modules, please refer to this detailed guide: https://wpml.org/documentation/support/maintaining-divi-builder-compatibility-wpml/#page-builder-shortcode-structure-in-the-language-configuration-file. You can also contact the support team of the Divi Events Calendar plugin for assistance with translating content added through their module. Additionally, you can suggest them to join WPML's Go Global program to ensure their plugin is fully compatible with the WPML environment. I hope you can understand. Feel free to let us know if you need further assistance or clarification. We'll be happy to help. Best regards, |

Hello, Take kindly note that it is the responsibility of the author of each theme or plugin to provide a wpml-config.xml file and make their product compatible with WPML. --- What we can do? I can offer to create a config for the widget for you and escalate the issue internally. Our compatibility team will then revise the issue and might try to reach the author in order to obtain cooperation in making their plugin compatible with WPML. If I send you a link to a test site with WPML and Divi, would you be able to install the latest version of "Divi Events Calendar" for testing and further steps? In case such an installation requires a license key to be able to use the plugin, take note that we do not expect you to purchase any such license for this test. It might be recommendable in such a case to reach out to the plugin author and ask for cooperation on this matter. Best regards |

Hi Andres, thank you. I allready reached out to the developer of the plugin, and he sounded interested in making it compatible with WPML, so maybe he already contacted you. Anyway, you can send me a link for the test environment and i will install the plugins. Thank you so much. |

On my test site the strings of the widgets appear translated based on the language files coming with the plugins: hidden link You can adjust those translations at WPML > String Translation. In case you spot an issue with a translation, please try to recreate it on our test site. |

My apologies, but as you can on the screenshot, I can not confirm this. Could you please clear your browser's cache, disable any browser add-ons, and then test again? |

Hi, I would like to offer to take a closer look and request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to the site to investigate the issue further. The required fields are below the comment section when you log in to leave the next reply. The information you provide is private, meaning only you and I can see and access it. IMPORTANT If you can't see the "wp-admin / FTP" fields, your post and site login details will be set to "PUBLIC". DO NOT publish the data unless you see the required wp-admin / FTP fields. I may need to install a plugin called "All In One WP Migration" here to create a copy of the site that I can use to investigate the issue further. However, I would also be very grateful if you could provide a staging site or copy of the website from your server for this purpose. If you have any questions about creating such a staging site, you can consult your hosting provider. Please note that WPML must also be registered on this staging site at https://wpml.org/de/account/websites/. If you are not able to provide such a copy of the website for testing, please let me know on this ticket. The private reply form looks like this: The next time you reply, click on "I still need assistance". Video: Please note that we are obliged to request this information individually on each ticket. We are not allowed to access any credentials that were not specifically submitted on this ticket in the private response form. Best regards |

In such cases yu first need to scan the plugin for new strings at WPML > Theme & Plugin Localization and then translate the strings. WPML String Translation guide: See screenshot for example strings. In some cases you will need to adjust the source language of the strings: |
