        • We provide technical help only to WPML customers who have active accounts and for that purpose we use technical forum. If your account has expired, you need to renew it. Otherwise you won’t be able to ask technical questions.

    • In that case you will pay the difference in purchase price. Please log into your WPML account first and you will see a link to upgrade.

    Mine is not a pre-sales question, I am already a client, but this is the only direct channel to contact you that I have been able to find. I have a technical issue but can’t write a post on the support forum because I don’t understand what “duplicator package link” field refers to, and it is required to fill this field in order to be able to submit a question to the support forum. I have already installed duplicator plugin, but don’t know where to find the required data.

      you don’t need to install the duplicator plugin to ask questions in our support forum.

      1. Log in to your WPML account
      2. Visit this link

      3. Click Open a new support ticket
      4. Choose either “Something is not doing what I expect it to ” (if you suspect a bug) or “I need help using WPML” (not a bug but you want to do something you don’t know how to)
      5. Choose the option that best reflects your issue
      6. Click “Submit ticket “

    I am building a classifieds ads website using (CarSpot theme – carspot.scriptsbundle.com)
    However, I tried a couple of free Multi Languages plugins and have the same problem, so before I purchase I have some questions:
    1- When installing the plugin and adding another language, can I make it show ads from all languages? (For example: I am browsing in Arabic Language, will it show the ads from English or Spanish Languages?)

    2- When building an App, does it support REST APIs?

    3- What is the best Subscription?

    4- Do you accept theme and plugin customization? Like paid services?

      thank you for your interest in WPML.

      The CarSpot theme is not compatible with WPML so you might have issues with translating your ads.
      1. It depends on how the ads are implemented. If a custom post type has been used, there is a change you will see in the WP admin the ads that belong to a given language. But since the theme wasn’t tested by our Compatibility Team, I cannot assure that they are fully ready to translations.
      2. What exactly you need to REST API for in the WPML contex?
      3. The Blog plan only makes sense for simple blog-like sites. Most of our customers start with the CMS plan.
      4. If a theme or a plugin is compatible with WPML the custom options it provides will be translatable with WPML. In these two links we list the plugins and themes compatible with WPML:

    After woo-commerce multilingual plugin installation I saw in my dashboard this line

    “WooCommerce Multilingual is enabled but not effective. It requires WPML, WPML Translation Management, WPML String Translation and WPML Media in order to work.”

    my question is :
    Are WPML, WPML Translation Management, WPML String Translation and WPML Media are a separated plugins or all in one plugin CMS 79$ ?

    • Hello,
      if you need to translate a site that uses a specific theme (which you know is compatible with WPML) you need either the CMS plan or the Lifetime plan. Both include the same set of plugins. The only difference is that the CMS version will expire after the first year. Your WPML plugins will continue working even if you don’t renew your subscription but you will lose access to future releases and our support forum.

  7. Hi, I’m considering WPML for my next multilingual website. I have some questions.

    There are some purchase options. I’m interested in 79$ version for one year.

    Is this “one year” means, only 1 year tech. support?

    I mean, will i be able to use the plugin after 1 year if i don’t renew my license? I’m ok with not having tech. support or updates after 1 year, since i’ll be hardly updating the website after 1 year. But i may add other languages and etc.

      yes, renewing is optional and if you don’t renew the plugins that you have installed will continue working fine. You will lose access to future releases and our support help.

  8. Hi, I like to use your plugin for my clients web site. I will use the child theme of Ascend Premium Theme to build the site. Is Wpml compatible with child themes?
    And on how many sites can I use the plugin, because I will build the test site first and then the main site?

    • Hello, normally when a theme is compatible with WPML, you can create a child theme and it will work with WPML as well and you will be able to translate all strings/options coming from your theme. But I cannot see the Ascend Premium Them in our list of themes compatible with WPML:

      which means the following:
      1. The theme hasn’t been tested by our Compatibility Team
      2. You should be able to translate pages, posts, categories, menu without any problems even if a theme is not marked as “WPML compatible” but you might have issues with translating non-standard options/elements of that theme.

    I have a client who is starting the process of developing 8 websites for them. They will all be WordPress enabled and follow the same framework…just a new skin for each site. With that said, we’re also interested in installing WPML CMS so that each of the respective sites have translation available. Will we need to purchase 8 separate times to install on all 8 sites? Also, any sense of fees from translators who we can plugin into here? The client is looking to translate sites into up to 5 languages for each site.

  13. I want to translate a theme called listingpro. In my support ticket told me that if I want to translate all the theme it seems that I need wpml Cmc but they are not certain. Can you please provide me for test reasons wpml cmc so I can try to translate this famous theme and if I succed I can give you the translation (in Greek!) so everyone that needs this theme can use it!

  14. Wow, totally impossible to get in contact with you regarding a sales question, links that goes in a loop. Feels very strange to leave a comment here to get support for a faulty way of debiting my renewal. You add VAT to the price when I am trying to renew our subscription. That is not correct, the price should be without VAT if given a valid VAT number which I have done. How to I renew the licence without you adding faulty VAT?

      • Turns out that even if I have filled out both country and VAT, it is not filled out when I am renewing a license = the VAT gets added. If I fill out VAT again on this page, then the VAT is gone = it works. Not very good UX.

  17. I have a Multilingual Blog account and I want to upgrade it to CMS Multilingual. I know I can do that and the price, that it is $50 USD. But my Blog account expires on July 19, if I upgrade today or tomorow (March 14 or 15); when will my CMS Multilingual expire? In July 19 (like the actual Blog) or next year in March 2019?
    I try to read about that in your web, but I didn’t found the answer.

      I can confirm that this will be fixed soon, most likely with WPML 4.0 which is our next big release, there are some more major improvements to how translators can work using WPML in that release if you follow our blog and announcements you’d be able to learn some more.

    I was buying VMPL CMS yesterday, but after I put all my bank details and clicked ok, a blank page appeared with written:
    “An error occurred while processing your request. Reference Number: 328047416878482”

    I didn’t get any email. I did it twice and I got the same message.

    Is there something wrong with the website?

    Could you help me please?

      Please try again since the payment didn’t go through at all. If you get the same error again, please try with a different card or PayPal. All other payments are going through without problems.
