  1. Hi Team. I heard a lot about you. I have a problem when translating my site from Arabic to English. The problem that Arabic start from right to left, which is opposite of English Left to right. Before I buy the plugin. I want to know if your Plugin will let me customize my page for the english language ( left to write). if you visit my sit now , you can choose english, yet it is obvious that the plugin I am using is really bad everything is not in order and start from right to left in english which is soooooo bad. Would I be able to fix this problem with you guys ? if so , would you please share some website that using your plugin in Arabic so I can make sure that it is working perfectly.
If you need more info , please let me know

    • Hello,
thank you for your interest in WPML. Yes, you can set Arabic as your primary language and English as your secondary language. WPML supports RTL languages but also your theme needs to be RTL ready.
The best way to test if it works for you as you expect is to buy WPML with our refund policy in mind which allows you to test WPML for 30 days without any risk. You will be able to consult all technical issues on our support forum during that trial.

  2. Hello,

We are a NGO running several WordPress websites using WPML. I was wondering if you have special plans / discounts for foundations?

Thanks for your help and kind regards, D. Jaccard

    • Hello,
I’m sorry but we don’t have any special plans/discounts for foundations but thanks for asking.

  3. I have a website in three languages [en] – [es] – [ca] running qtranslate-X and YOAST SEO with all the posts “arranged” with YOAST for each language. If I migrate to WPML CMS will I lose the YOAST settings?

    Thank you

  4. Hi

    1. Is it possible to intgrate WPML with DeepL API?

    2. For the different price by country, as my product cost is in EUR, but will have differents price by country adapted to transport fee, taxes and the market, is it possible to automaticly adjust the price differents with the exchange rate on a daily basics, Ex: USA: Daily rates of USD-EUR + 10%

    • Hello Franck,
      1. You mean, you would like to do it yourself? I don’t think it would be easy even if you are an experienced developer. Currently, our ATE editor (the one that provides machine translations) uses Azure’s MT engine and we have a few full-time developers working on this project for about 2-3 years. It’s a big project. Let me check with our devs what other translation engines we plan to integrate.
      2. “different price by country” this feature is not implemented yet. For now, users can set different shipping fees in WooCommers settings.

    • Hello Franck, hi again.
Our devs say that they are constantly monitoring other services, but atm Azure is the best balance between price / quality / number of supported languages. They also say that DeepL is twice as expensive and supports 10 times fewer languages. So, for now, no plans for its integration.

  5. Hi,

I was in the process of buying but I was told by a notice that there is already a user with my email, which is not possible because I have not yet officially purchased the plugin. To confirm it, the username that shows when I try to recover the password is something I would never choose. It doesn’t give me much confidence. Can you help me?

    Thank you!

    • Hello, could you please provide me your full name? We have many clients with your name. This will help us validate your case.

  6. Hi,

I want to pay for plan 2, but it tells me that the maximum number of words to translate is 2000, if I need to translate more, how would I do?

  7. Hi,

I am running a multisite install with folders, something like mysite.com/uk for UK and mystic.com/de for Germany. I have realised the theme I am using is not multi language, so my 404 on the German site is in English (it has this file wp-content/themes/ux-shop/404.php). Does WPML fix this?

Also, if I then create a new post or page on the UK site, does WPML help me link to the right place on the DE site?

    Thanks for your help,

    • Hello,
yes, using WPML should help but please note that your theme should provide the German translations for all its strings (for example, if it is your theme that renders the 404 page and the page says “Nothing found” your theme should have its German translation). If your theme doesn’t provide these translations, you will be able to provide them in WPML.

  8. Hello,

I am wondering if i could run an English (original language) website in Dutch by default? So the visitor will see the Dutch translation of the first (no matter what the browser language is).

    Kind regards,

    Wilt

    • Yes, you can. On how many sites, it depends on the package you will buy. The CMS one allows you to register up to 3 sites, the Agency package – unlimited.

  9. Hi,

Currently, we are using the WPML Multilingual CMS and WPML String Translation plugin on our WordPress. They are configured with an account.

Now is the issue that we don’t know which emailaddress we used for WPML. We didn’t pay with PayPal, so that won’t work. How can I recover the emailaddress? Where can I look?

    Thanks in advance!

    Kind regards,
    Anson

  10. Hello,
the advaned editor didn´t delivered the result as inspected.
I wanted to use it, but …
I asked the WPML support. He told me it´s not possible to use the advanced editor with my pagebuilder.
So I made the translation by myself.
Now I got an invoice 9,98 USD for a translation which not work.

I had a lot of trouble with this case.
Please send me the money back.
    Regards
    Rainer

  11. Hi WPML Support Team,

Which AJAX based WooCommerce Product Filter plugin(s) would you recommend in combination with the premium WPML options? Thanking you in advance for your reply.

  12. We want to use this plugin at my job but we need legal clearance and we are having trouble finding any terms of use or licensing terms for the plugin. Can you please provide?

    • Hello Stephen,
WPML plugins are based on the GPL license and you will find the terms of use in the WPML plugins files. This is a standard GPL template most WordPress plugins use. Please note that WPML itself is a trademark.

  13. Hi,

I running WPML on 2 of my websites
    (edited)

I was able to find the license for the first website which is under this account but was not able to find the license for the second website contracts.ae kindly let me know under which email I registered the license? now, I want to add one more site, so I am buying the agency license – if the second website was registered in a different account, could you please move it to this account

    regards,

    • can you please remove the ticket once you answer as it is public and don’t like to have my website publish publicly.

      thanks,

    • Hello,
It’s easy to check if your site is registered: on your WP site, you go to Plugins -> Add new -> Commercial tab. If the site is registered you will see it there. Then we will be able to check who is the owner of the associated WPML account. If your site is not registered, we cannot check who owns the WPML account. So please check if your site is registered and if it is, then please get back to me and we will be able to trace the owner. But please note that only the owner of the WPML subscription can manage the site’s registration, we cannot do it instead of him. The site owner can transfer the site to his end-users. We posted about it here: https://wpml.org/changelog/2020/02/wpml-4-3-7-transfer-renewal-payments-to-your-clients/

But of course, you can generate your own key for an existing site. You need to go to your WPML account, Sites and register the site. Then on your WP site go to Plugins -> Add new -> Commercial tab and unregister your site if it was registered and provide your new key. You can register and unregister the same site as many times as you want.

      I hope it helps.

  14. Hello,

I’ve read that WPML is one of the only ways to translate dynamic strings (e.g. category names or metadata fields of a post). Is this true and which tier of the plugin would be required for this?

Thank you in advance for your time!

    • Hello Michael,
yes, WPML allows you to translate dynamic strings (category names and metadata fields of a post) but I don’t know if this is the only plugins that can do so. I think that other plugins should allow that too but what I can tell you for sure, WPML is famous for its other features such as machine translations (on demand), compatibility with hundreds of themes, plugins and page builders, excellent support and so on.

  15. I have a site in English: example.com/
that I want to translate to Danish like: example.com/da/

However, not all articles from example.com/ will be translated, and likewise, some articles will only exist on example.com/da/

    Is that possible?

    Thanks in advance,
    Nick

    • Hello Nick,
yes, it possible to pick only some of your posts/articles/pages for translations and leave others without. WPML can handle that.

  16. Hello. i use the free version of this plugin, but i would like report a problem that i have.
i have some category and sub category that i would like to translate.
i do this, without problem, go to WooCommerce Multilingual—-> categories
and add the categoriie’s translation in the wanted language.
The problem, is that the new category, created, don’t follow the three of master language, example.
Master language english, category woman, sub category: clothes
i translate both category, in mujer, ropa, but the ropa category is not a sub category of mujer (spanish)
if you can solve this, thanks you

  17. I’ve come to this forum via MAK who has a WPML tutorial on YouTube, where he promises that by using his special link, I will get a 10% discount. The invoice that WPML shows me, however, does not include tke promised discount. Why? Thanks for your answer(s).

    • Hello,
thank you for your interest in WPML. May I have the link to the YouTube video, please? We will check this out. We do cooperate with our affiliates and the discount should work. We will check it for sure, I just need to know the link.

  18. Before I purchase I have a few questions.

I want to translate into 4-6 languages. I need to know if it is possible on my site.
The product page specifically has a few plugins for the options and also the information tabs. I need to know if WPML will let me achieve this. Please look at all the text etc on the main product page and let me know if WMPL will allow me to translate all these thanks. • Hello James, no, it’s not possible to pay for WPML via bank deposit because we need to set up a subscription.

    • Hello,
I’m sorry but we don’t have any discounts for NGO organizations. You would need to buy WPML as any other customer.

    • Hi again,
thank you for the link. Our admin checked it out and indeed Mak is our affiliate but from what we can see in his records, his account has recently expired and that must be the reason why his affiliate link is no longer working. We are going to get in touch with him to sort it out.

  19. Hello, I would like to buy “Multilingual CMS” option to translate web page and online shop. I would like to ask If I buy this package with company’s credit card and with company’s VAT number – do I get the tax back on my account / am I eligible for tax payments and I can put this purchase under company cost/expences?

I am asking on behalf of my client for which I would build web page/shop.

    Thank you for your reply.

    BR Peter
