Hello, is WPML compatible with WCFM Marketplace multivendor now ? I saw that it was not the case before. If not, do you know when it will be ? Thank you
Hello,
I still cannot see this plugin on our plugins-compatibility list so I assume it’s not compatible but let me double-check with our Compatibility Team if there have any plans to make it compatible.
Hi!
I’m volunteering with a small nonprofit that empowers women recovering from domestic violence to create their own businesses. Do you have a nonprofit discount? I think we may need the $79 one because we’re using a page builder.
Thanks for the response! Sadly that website tells me that I have to log in 🙁 Is it a list of ones that work with the basic version? Or ones that work with the more expensive version? We use the WPBakery Page Builder, which I’m assuming/hoping is on the list!
I know that you’re a smaller company and, being a small business owner myself (not of the nonprofit–I’m a volunteer there) I know that every penny counts, but have you considered creating a discount policy for nonprofits? In my research I’ve found that many companies like yours offer some sort of discount, particularly for a service/product that renews annually. As I’m sure you’re already aware, it’s a great way to give back to the community that doesn’t cost you anything, and I’ve found that people in for-profit companies tend to look more favorably on products and services that offer a nonprofit discount..so in the end it makes you more sales! 🙂
Hello Janice,
thanks for sharing your thoughts. We used to provide free accounts for nonprofits but when we offer something for free is not exactly for free for us because our accounts involve support help. I will share your feedback with our management. Please look around and maybe you will find some discounts offered by ou affiliates.
Yes, of course 🙂 I completely understand! Perhaps they might be open to the idea of offering the CMS version for the same price as the blog version? Or at a 50% discount? 😇
Thank you for your help and consideration! I really appreciate it, even if nothing comes of it.
The new update of your plugin asks me to enter a registration key and see that the non-profit option has disappeared from your website.
I would like to know if I should consider changing the plugin or if it is still possible to register for free.
We are a small public school and have little means.
and provide us the email that was used for your WPML account and some background on the agreement. We used provide free licenses for non-profits in the past. We need to better under your case. Thank you.
I was wondering if you offer different pricing for non-profit organization. I am running a website for a dutch buddhist foundation (https://buddho.nl) which runs purly on donations and we have found there to be a demand for our information in English. On a side note, I have posted this question before, but it seems to have disappeard form this page…
Hello,
the Expositio theme is not present on our themes-compatible-with-WPML list so it’s hard to tell. I haven’t found any users on our forum to mentioning issues with this theme either. The only way to check it would be to buy WPML with our refund policy in mind. It allows you to test WPML for 30 days without any risk. https://wpml.org/purchase/refunds-policy/
Is there an option within this plugin, where we can translate individual words manually by inputting the correct word, if the translated document has some words which contextually incorrect.
For example if I have a verb which has been translated literally in English but doesn’t fit contextually, can I change that specific word with the contextually appropriate word?
Hello Daniel,
I am afraid we have stopped supporting non-profits for now. We continue to support the existing ones in our system but we cannot take new ones. You are welcome to buy WPML and try it for 30 days. If it does not suit your needs we will refund you https://wpml.org/purchase/refunds-policy/
I have one question if i buy WPML Multilingual CMS 79$ this is just for one year and then will stop working and does include WPML String Translation and all others features?
Hello,
WPML won’t stop working even if you don’t renew your subscription but you will lose access to updates and our support forum. Yes, String Translation and all others WPML plugins are included in the Multilingual CMS package.
I bought my Multilingual CMS lifetime subscription some years ago and now I can’t download the plugin anymore on my wordpress because when I log on with my account, it says:
“Your Multilingual CMS account has expired. To download WPML and get support, set up an auto-renewal in your account”
I cannot contact technical support because when I try to do it, your website says that I first need to purchase the plugin to be able to speak to the support (but I did, it is a lifetime subscription).
Hello Marija,
I’ve checked your records and you bought the yearly CMS package in 2013 which expired in 2014. Maybe you bought the lifetime package with a different email? If that’s the case, you can write your next comment with your other email and I will check again. You can also use this form: https://wpml.org/home/contact-us/contact-form/ to share your sensitive data, if needed.
Which plan will allow me to add a new language? I’m planning to translate the content myself. Also do I have to create separate web page for each of the languages?
The Blog plan will allow you to add new languages. You can upgrade to the CMS later if needed for the difference in price. You set up your languages first and then, you create pages in those languages. Please check the video on our homepage to see how it works.
Hello, I´m very happy about to find your plugin.
I need to know if it works perfectly with Flatsome Theme and woocomerce??
People say it works good, however I can´t see Flatsome in your Themes List….
Hello,
last time I checked, my colleagues from the Compatibility Tean told me that although we are not officially compatible, many of our customers use this theme. Let me check the status once again. I will keep you posted.
Just talked with the Compatibility Team folks and they say that you can use Flatsome with WPML without problems but please don’t use their page builder and try to translate the content using WPML translation editors.
Our webmasters are looking into your CMS products to integrate with our main websites.
Understand that the plug-in would be hosted in our site, but I still want to find out a bit more about:
1. Would there be any inbound and outbound connection with remote servers? Would the plugin collect and send out our site data? such as product errors?
2. Have you employed 3rd party to conduct test before update release? such as penetration test, vulnerability scanning ,code review.
Thank you. When you install WPML it will ask you if you allow sending reports. If you choose no, we will send only the data that are required for WPML to work. To get a complete list I would need to ask our developers. I’m doing it now but it can take a while to get the answer.
Do all files that are executed and installed by the automatic update are digitally signed by WPML? Do you use self-signed certificate or issued by third-party CA to verify the integrity of the update?
Yes, the user has an option to agree or disagree, and only if we get the user permission we will send the reports. To answer your other questions I need our developer’s help. I’ll keep you posted.
Thanks for your quick response, I mean the product WPML Multilingual CMS. Would there be any inbound and outbound data transmitted, such as collecting running errors or log.
Hello,
as I wrote in my previous, WPML will ask you if you agree to send any reports. You can choose no. But I’m not sure is there is anything else we send. I’ve asked our developers and awaiting their feedback. Will keep you posted but it can take a while.
btw, I also want to know do all updates digitally signed by WPML? Do you use self-signed certificate or issued by third-party CA to verify the authenticity of the update?
Hello, here are some notes from our lead developer to address your questions:
“Hi Agnes,
WordPress in general downloads the plugins as ZIP files.
Free plugins are downloaded from the WordPress repository.
No checks are made.
Commercial plugins are installed manually, by downloading the ZIP files or, like in WPML, through a feature that downloads the same ZIP files.
In these cases, this is the only difference.
There is no mechanism that allows verifying the authenticity of the installed plugin.
However, both the WordPress repository and our servers are behind SSL. Both use a certificate issued by a verified CA (just open https://wpml.org to check the certificate).
When installing our plugins manually, if they have been downloaded from wpml.org, they are authentic.
When using the commercial tab (Plugins > Add New > Commercial), WPML ensures that the downloads come from our servers.
As long as the plugins are downloaded from our website or installed through the commercial tab the download will happen from our servers granting the authenticity of the plugin.”
I have Multilingual Blog subscription.
I can’t weight do I really need to upgrade to CMS. I have two blogs and I just need the same as for the first of my sites. Do I really need to make 20$ extra pay, or just to make one more account… Can you help with that?
My first site is http://www.joojicamera.com, next one where I need also translation is http://www.timelinehealing.space
Hello Georgi,
You cannot buy another Blog subscription with the same account. You an either upgrade to CMS and register up to 3 sites; or, buy another Blog subscription with a different e-mail address and a new account will be created. One Blog subscription does not allow you to register 2 urls.
Hello There,
Is there any option to purchase multilingual CMS version of plugin for only one website ?
since i don’t wants to purchase 3 sites combo package.
I need a refund… I see you only offer them for 30 days, but your system is so unwieldy it took me weeks to figure out how to get a translation done from just traditional to simplified chinese, and even that got the translations wrong, it made stuff up instead of swapping character for character. Then our orders for our chinese suppliers started coming out in English instead of chinese. And many other problems. It took me just over a month to realise that your system is very unsuited to a fast moving ecommerce website. I would like a refund please, regardless of your policy.
Dear Sirs,
My subscription expires today. I want to continue but I do not know which cc you have in record and if the renewal will go through. And I don’t see it being renewed.
Where can I see my cc retails?
Best regards,

Hello Janice,
Your project sounds great but unfortunately, we don’t provide any discounts for any non-profits. You would need to but WPML as any other user. Here is the list of page builders compatible with WPML:

Hello,
your previous question/comment was awaiting moderation. I replied.
Website is WordPress with Expositio theme (WPShower). Is it compatible with WPML? Important to know before purchasing.
Thanks
Hello,
the Expositio theme is not present on our themes-compatible-with-WPML list so it’s hard to tell. I haven’t found any users on our forum to mentioning issues with this theme either. That would be an option, thanks. There’s a similar, more frequent used theme called Portfolium (same designer co). Is this on that list?
I’m sorry but didn’t find that one either:
https://wpml.org/documentation/theme-compatibility/
Hi, Do you still offer some sort of non-profit discount to 501 c 3 nonprofits?
Thanks
Hello David,
I’m sorry but we don’t. Thanks for checking though.

Hello Nathan,
WPML offers machine translation as well as other methods. If you choose machine translation you can then edit any word manually.
More info here https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/advanced-translation-editor/
Hello,
Do you provide tariffs/plans for non-profit organisations?
Also, is WPML compatible with Beaver Builder?
Hello Daniel,
I am afraid we have stopped supporting non-profits for now. We continue to support the existing ones in our system but we cannot take new ones. You are welcome to buy WPML and try it for 30 days. If it does not suit your needs we will refund you https://wpml.org/purchase/refunds-policy/
Yes, Beaver Builder works fine https://wpml.org/documentation/plugins-compatibility/beaver-builder/
Hope this helps!

I have only one question. Dose Wpml supports Amharic language (am_ET)? If does and works properly I will buy. Thank you.
Hello,
if you plan to use your own translations, you can add the Amharic language yourself and this tutorial will help: https://wpml.org/documentation/support/editing-wpmls-languages-table/
But if you are interested in machine translation, please note that our ATE editor uses the Azure’s MT engine and the list of supported languages is here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/cognitive-services/translator/language-support – I cannot see Amharic on that list.
Which plan will allow me to add a new language? I’m planning to translate the content myself. Also do I have to create separate web page for each of the languages?

Yes, it is.

Hi,
Can WordPress.com plug-in WPML?
WPML is a WordPress plugin that can be used on any WordPress site so I cannot see why not but better to check with WordPress.com support.
Hello I can pay $ 300 for WPML LTD. Please send me a purchase link for LTD.
Hello,
You can see our subscription plans here https://wpml.org/purchase/
Kind regards,
How I can upgrade my existing “WPML Multilingual CMS” subscription for Agency license.
I searched forums but was not able to find the solution.
Hi! Log in to your account and you will see a link to do it for the difference only.
I want to pay by Bitcoin or some other virtual currencies !!
I’m sorry but we don’t provide such an option.

Hello,
1. By products you mean WooCommerce products?
2. We do all those things ourselves, I mean our developers and testers do it.
Hi Agnes,
Actually what I was asking is about your main product WPML Core.
Thank you. When you install WPML it will ask you if you allow sending reports. If you choose no, we will send only the data that are required for WPML to work. To get a complete list I would need to ask our developers. I’m doing it now but it can take a while to get the answer.
Hi Agnes,
Do all files that are executed and installed by the automatic update are digitally signed by WPML? Do you use self-signed certificate or issued by third-party CA to verify the integrity of the update?
BR
Thanks Agnes, I would also like to know could these reporting be disabled by client?
And I also want to know do you digitally sign each update to validate the authenticity of them before installing?
Yes, the user has an option to agree or disagree, and only if we get the user permission we will send the reports. To answer your other questions I need our developer’s help. I’ll keep you posted.
