I recently purchased a WPML license, but unfortunately I entered the wrong email address during checkout, so I didn’t receive the account access or license details.
Here are my payment details for reference:
Date: December 15, 2025
Amount: €117.81
Merchant: ONTHEGOSYSTEMS
Payment method: Visa (ending **** 5512)
Status: Successful
I have attached a screenshot of the transaction as proof of payment.
Could you please help me:
Locate my purchase, and
Update the email address on the order to this one: account@atlasgub.com
or provide me with access to my WPML account and license.
Hi, the translations are yours and they’ll remain on your site even without a subscription, however if you don’t update WPML we can’t guarantee it will work in the future.
Hi,
I’m trying to buy a license but get an error when I put my VAT-ID in the text field.
The error: Error communicating with the VAT validation server – please try again.
Hi,
Unfortunately there’s nothing we can do about it since the error is with the VIES system, not on us. Please try again later and if the issue still persists, write to hello@wpml.org
Hi, WPML only offers annual subscriptions, but you may need to pay extra if you want to use automatic translation. You can read more about our prices here and here.
Hi, I’ve just purchased the $99 version. I haven’t received the email yet, probably because I entered the wrong email address, but I did receive the PayPal receipt confirming the payment. Please contact me so we can sort this out.
Hello,
I can find an account with the mail you used for this comment. Please check the spam folder, and if you still have issues please write to hello@wpml.org
Hi i have an account wich is a username (the email adres is old and does not excist anymore), and i have a lot of registred websites on it, but i. cannot login anymore with this username? It’s a paid account
Can i Please get support !
I`m not able to renew my suscription. I`m based on Madrid, Spain and I`m trying to renew my licence and it`s saying it does`nt support the country. How does this work ?
I used to login with my username and my password. Now it asks me for my email and password. I can’t remember which email I used to register WPML. Can you help me?
1) Whether translate the default language on my own and do you support to have the pages like
website.com/en/
website.com/de/
website.com/ar/
2) Whether the payment of $99 is per month right? Then on the 2nd second year, If I try not to renew the plan whether can I add the languages support like
website.com/en-ca
website.com/fr
3) I’m planning to purchase €99 plan, whether it supports elementor. Do you follow the european regulations?
Note: If there is any further queries whether can I post them here or as a email thread
Hello
1. yes, you can have that kind of URL structure
2. no, the 99€ payment is per year, not per month. I’m not sure what do you mean with “If I try not to renew the plan whether can I add the languages support like
website.com/en-ca
website.com/fr”. You can add as many languages as you want from the beginning.
3. if you mean the GDPR yes, WPML is GDPR compliant. You can read our privacy policy here.
We previously had an agency licence for multiple years. 2020-2023 We have never used it on a live site, because WPML was destroying the staging site and its performance. There were so many bugs and things that made the site lag. After spending €40.000 in development cost we had to remove it and redo the whole website because of it. We built a custom multisite solution instead.
There are no perfect options for a multilingual website, so I’m revisiting WMPL. I wonder what improvements have been made for website performance since 2023? Can I review the page speed / performance improvements somewhere?
Hello,
you can check the changelog category in our blog. Please understand that “performance” is a vague term so you might not find an explicit answer. We add improvements with any new version.
I hope you are doing well! Our site is running WordPress v6.5.5 deployed via Docker. Before proceeding, could you please advise how we can verify that each of the following additional requirements is enabled? If you have recommended checks via WordPress admin, WP-CLI, a PHP test script, or commands to run inside the container, that would be very helpful.
Requirements to confirm:
WordPress REST API for WPML (REST API is available / not disabled)
Ability to create tables in the database (permissions to CREATE/ALTER)
PHP Multibyte String extension (mbstring)
PHP SimpleXML extension (for XLIFF files)
The PHP eval() function (not disabled)
PHP libxml module version ≥ 2.7.8
Could you please share:
The exact validation method/steps for each item (e.g., which endpoint/page to check, which WP-CLI command to run, which PHP info to look at)
If any item is not enabled, the recommended minimal fix (e.g., PHP extension install steps in Docker, php.ini settings, or WordPress/security-plugin settings)
If you need more environment details (PHP version, web server type, database type/version, docker-compose snippet, etc.), we can provide them.
Hi,
when WPML is installed you can go to WPML > Support and it will list any missing requirement. They’re all pretty basic so most of the sites do not need to do anything specific. Usually to install extension you need to ask your hosting, you might not have permissions to install them yourselves
I am planning a multilingual WordPress website and would like to confirm whether WPML fully supports my intended structure.
My setup would be:
English (main language): example.com
German: example.de (separate domain)
French: example.com/fr/ (subdirectory)
All languages would be managed from a single WordPress installation.
Could you please confirm:
1. Whether WPML supports using different domains and subdirectories at the same time for different languages.
2. Whether this setup requires WordPress Multisite or can be done on a single-site installation.
3. If there are any SEO limitations or recommendations for this structure.
Hello,
WPML does not support that kind of structure, you can’t mix domain and sub-directories. What I can suggest is to use a subdomain for French (fr.example.com).
VAT validation server issues, particularly with the EU’s VIES, often stem from service downtime, maintenance, or high traffic, causing “Internal Server Error” or “maximum number of requests” messages which have nothing to do with us.
If a validation fails, retry after a few minutes, as it is often a temporary technical glitch. If a specific country is down, check the VIES self-monitoring page to confirm if the issue is with that nation’s system here: https://ec.europa.eu/taxation_customs/vies/#/self-monitoring
Hello, why do you remove my pre sale question? I am trying to order with my VAT but the connection to the validation server is not working, can you fix it so I can order with my VAT please.

Hi there, Im working on a new website by using Elementor Pro, and what I need to know its that if I use WPML may I be able to use different domains for the same site? I mean, instead of /en and /es can I use for example: hello.com (english) and hola.com (spanish). Thanks for your support!
The reply link below a message doesn’t work.
The blog indeed does not give information about what changes were made to improve performance. WMPL is widely known for its poor performance in terms of slow page load, bugs, polluting the database, not removing database data on uninstall. So much that WPML has been working on it and has sent out mailings on performance improvements. I know that WPML is well aware as there are hundreds or even thousands of posts on your site about this. I know WPML has taken this seriously, but I’m unaware to what extent this was addressed in the last few years.
I’m sorry, but it’s not easy to reply to such a question. WPML did improve performance in various areas, solving compatibility issues that affected performance and improving internal processes. However, performance should be evaluated on case by case basis since not all sites are identical. We have complaints about performance but we also have many clients happy with it. So unless you point us to specific issues it’s hard to tell you if WPML can work for you now.
Hi !
I use Kadence widgets to build my pages, including Advanced galeries and Advanced images.
Are those widgets supported and is it possible to translate alt and titles of the images while translating the page with the WPML interface ?
Thank you for your support !
Hi !
I have seen in the forum that WPML does not allow to translate images from Kadence block Advanced Galery and Advanced Image.
Is that so ? Or is Kadence blocks plugin now supported ?
Thanks for your response !
I would love to get the details on the improvements made since august 2023. Could you please send me the changelog for me to review? WPML is simply the main language plugin that is supported most by themes and other plugins. So I’d like to give it a fresh look, but after all the issues we’ve encountered and reported to you and the many manhours it took to clean the database after removal, I’m very scared to blindly try it again.
Where do I find private tickets? I only see forum topics.
You can find the changelog here.
I’m not sure what you mean with “private tickets”. You can create a private ticket when contacting Support, but they’re visible only for the creator.

1) With single plugin purchase whether can we use in multiple (max of 3)
2) How exactly the arabic translation will work for RTL as well LTR
3) If there are any SEO limitations or recommendations for this structure.
4) Do you trial plan to play and get use to it
5) Whether can I position the language switch, where I need like a dropdown
6) If I’m on inner page of a website, and try to switch the language from the dropdown. Whether myself will be navigated to corresponding page of another language
Hello,
1. I’m not sure what you mean with “With single plugin purchase whether can we use in multiple”. The CMS license allows up to 3 sites, the Agency license allows for unlimited sites
2. RTL is managed by the theme, not by WPML. If your theme supports RTL it will work out of the box
3. There are no limitations; we don’t have any SEO recommendations since they can changing depending on the site, the target users, etc
4. We don’t have a trial plan, we do have a 30-day no question asked refund policy
5. Yes, you can style and position the switcher where you want
6. Yes
Hello ,
Can u make a little bit discount for option no 2

Hi, why are you asking this question? According to our data, the site is running under a valid license.

VAT validation server issues, particularly with the EU’s VIES, often stem from service downtime, maintenance, or high traffic, causing “Internal Server Error” or “maximum number of requests” messages which have nothing to do with us.

Hello
Yes, you can user a language per domain setup. This is described in the following article:

I hope this answers your question.

we have a workaround to translate Kadence Advanced Gallery and Images. Full integration must be included in Kadence’s code, so it’s not on us.
