Guys, this is your client, I use WPML I can’t pay. My subscription expired, we started my ticket but I can’t reply since my subscription expired, can we continue my topic of payment in some communicational channel?
I want to purchase the WPML plugin and couldn’t able to make payment and complete the purchase. Trying since 2 days but not happening. Help me with payment link so that I can make payment.
I would like to clarify one key accounting-related point, as this is critical for me before using WCML.
Even if orders are displayed in the customer’s currency, I need to know whether WCML does the following internally:
Saves the order total in the store’s base currency (EUR) in the order data
Saves the exchange rate used at the time of purchase
Allows me (or my accountant) to see, per order:
Order currency (e.g. GBP)
Exchange rate (e.g. 1 GBP = X EUR)
Total amount in EUR for accounting purposes
I understand that exchange rates change daily, but for accounting I need the EUR value fixed and stored at the moment the order is created, without manual conversion later.
Could you please confirm clearly:
Does WCML store the base currency (EUR) total and the exchange rate in each order, or is this not supported at all?
Each order only stores one currency, the one in which the payment was made. If you collect the payment in EUR, even if the client sees it displayed in their own currency, you’ll get the order in EUR.
Note that the exact amount would depend not only on the exchange rate at the payment, but also at the time when the amount is converted, if it’s not done in real-time. Therefore, even if we had such an option it might not be accurate.
Well, you can purchase the subscription and then cancel it before the yearly renewal…which I guess would make it a “one time purchase”. The subscription allows you access to support and plugin updates. If you do not renew, your plugin will still work and all your translations will still available. You can also continue using Automatic Translation but you are limited to purchasing credits with the “Pay as you Go” plan.
Your free version does not work, even though my system meets your minimum requirements. Maybe my WooCommerce version is too old (I cannot find this information on your page), or there is a conflict with another plugin. Is it possible to get an older version of your plugin to try?
I suppose that with “Free version” you’re referring to WooCommerce Multicurrency? If so, you can open a ticket with our Support here.
We wouldn’t recommend using an outdated plugin if everything else on your site is up to date, there’s a high chance of having issues.
We have been on the legacy 3 website plan for many years now. We need an extra license so we need to do the agency plan upgrade. What will the new yearly pricing be and will we lose the legacy pricing?
When I make text updates to my site or add a new product, do I have to rescan the whole site and therefore need to use/buy more credits or can I just re-scan that page/product?
The main reason I ask this is because my product pages are driven by a WP/Woo Yootheme builder template which loads the product content dynamically (but does index) but with some additional content.
My sense is that the whole page would need to be rescanned hence quite heavy on translations. We have over 400 products.
Essentially I just want to ascertain progressive costs involved.
please note that Yootheme is not compatible with WPML and it would need manual translation. As for your main question, when you use the Advanced Translation Editor all the content is saved into a Translation Memory, so if you update your content what was already translated uses the Translation Memory. Therefore, you’ll only use credits to translate new content.
I have today had a big release from the Yootheme team explains in detail how the new YOOtheme Pro 5 now supports language switcher and they specifically discuss your company in the video.
The blog post doesn’t mention WPML’s automatic translation or translation editor. The theme can still be translated manually and I think it’s what they’re referring to. We had contact with them in the past but at the moment we consider YooTheme not fully compatible. You should check with them what they mean exactly with “multilingual ready”.
We are planning to configure WPML on our WordPress website. Before purchasing the plugin, we would like to confirm whether WPML can meet our requirements.
Our key requirements are outlined below:
1. Directory-based URL structure
We would like to use a directory-based setup where each country has its own URL path (for example: /in/, /ke/).
All countries will use English only — we do not require content translation into other languages.
2. Country-specific pages and content
Each country should function as its own microsite, meaning:
Pages can differ between countries
Page content can vary by country, even though the language remains English
Pages should remain fully isolated within their respective country directories
3. Country-specific menus
When a user switches from one country to another, we want:
A different header menu to be displayed for each country
All menu links to remain contained within the selected country’s directory
4. Country selector
The site should allow users to switch between countries, and once switched, the user should remain fully within that country’s microsite (URLs, menus, and pages).
5. User access control
We would also like to understand whether it is possible to manage user access by country, such that:
Users are given access to the WordPress dashboard for each country
Each User can manage only the pages and menus related to their assigned country
Users cannot access or edit content belonging to other countries
Overall, our goal is to manage each country as a microsite within a single WordPress installation, using WPML primarily for country separation, URL structure, navigation control, and scalability — not for language translation.
Could you please review our requirements and confirm whether this setup is achievable using WPML, and if there are any limitations we should be aware of?
WPML works with languages, not with countries. Your requests, while doable, would require a bit of customization (for example, creating custom languages who would work like countries). Point 5 may require custom coding or access management plugin, depending on exact use cases. WPML offers a 30-day refund policy, probably the best suggestion I can give you is to buy it and see if it fits your needs. If you don’t need to translate anything, the Multilingual Blog package should be enough for you.
Could you please confirm whether it is possible to create custom languages in WPML to represent countries?
Also, could you please clarify whether it is possible to manage separate pages and menus for each language or country in WPML?
Specifically, when switching between languages or countries, we would like to display a different header menu. Additionally, in the admin dashboard, we should be able to manage pages and menus separately for each language or country, effectively supporting a microsite-style setup.
As I said in my previous comment, all your requests are doable with WPML. You can create content, including menus, in any “country” and manage them separately. I’m not sure what do you mean with “microstyle-site setup”. WPML doesn’t change the WordPress backend, but using the language switcher you can see the content created in that specific language.
I have paid for the WPML Agency license, but I have not received any confirmation email.
Additionally:
I do not receive password reset emails
I have no access to the purchased product
I am unable to log in to my account despite the payment being completed
At this moment, I have paid for the license but cannot use it in any way.
Please verify my payment and account status and grant immediate access to the purchased WPML Agency license, or advise what needs to be done on your side to resolve this issue as soon as possible.
This matter is blocking my ongoing projects, so I would appreciate a prompt response.
My site contains language-specific images and links to local (language specific) .pdf files. Can I change these images and links for every language I add, so that the same page in another language links to its local .pdf’s? And how many language are supported?
Hi, yes you can use language specific images with the addon Media Translation, as well as unique pdf. We don’t have a maximum number of languages, you can configure as many as you want.
This is a pre-sales question. I have three websites under my WPML Multilingual CMS license.
If I purchase WPML and activate Pay-As-You-Go translation credits on domain1.com, will domain2.com and domain3.com also inherit and be able to use the same credits, or will the credits be usable only on domain1.com?
I would like to delete my subscription in an account that I have with another email, but unfortunately I don’t have access to that email anymore and I don’t remember the password to access to my WPML account.
I have the following questions before I try your plugin:
1. We are working with the Astra theme and using Elementor.
We want to add 1 more language to the site – Romanian, with the domain becoming getwavy.eu/ro – is the theme compatible with your plugin and would there be any problems with it for translations?
2. Also, we want everything related to WooCommerce to be able to be translated separately, for example – the emails that the WooCommerce system sends, the settings inside, etc. – is this possible and would we have any problems with this?
3. Separately, we want people who enter from the Romania geolocation to see only the getwavy.eu/ro site and all pages that are in the Romanian language, without the Bulgarian site. Do you have such an option, or do I need a separate plugin or code for this.
4. Regarding the Loco Translate plugin, since the site is currently only in Bulgarian by default, how are things going there – with translations that this plugin can cover?
5. We want everything to be translated manually, without AI or automatic translations in most cases – I guess this won’t be a problem.
We would be happy to answer these questions quickly so that we can download the plugin and start translating the site.
1. Astra and Elementor are compatible with WPML
2. Yes you can translate all WooCommerce elements, including the backend
3. WPML doesn’t have Geolocation option, you’ll need to use a 3rd party plugin or custom code
4. Loco Translate doesn’t interfere with WPML
5. You don’t have to use automatic translation if you don’t want to, WPML has the option to translate yourself, using translators or a translation service
We have below question. Could you please answer it?
We should go with the Subdirectories, and shouldn’t make /en/ sub-folder, we can make english is at the root domain without an /en/ folder
Because adding /en/ it would create a sudden drop in the traffic, as all the URLs will be removed from the search engine and re-index again because of 301 redirection. instead we should do as Dacast’s have implemented,
By default WPML doesn’t add the language code for the default language, so that’s not an issue.
WPML is compatible with Yoast and it adds automatically the hreflangs where needed.
1:Does this plugin support Schema pro? .
2:Does the menu automatically translate?
3: Can we integrate WPML on multiple staging sites as well as production?
1. We have some smaller issue with Schema and Yoast but we’re working on them.
2. Menus can be translated automatically but it is not as straightforward like other content, due to how menus work in WordPress. You don’t translate the menus directly, but the different items into it. For example if you use placeholder or anchors you need to translate them via String Translation
3. For each production site WPML offers up to 3 development licenses
Hello,
I’m trying to renew my WPML subscription, but my account does not allow me to proceed with payment.
The system says the account is already activated and asks me to upgrade, but there is no way to complete the purchase.
Could you please check my account and enable renewal?
Hi does your plugin support multicurrency on directory websites? I want to use the Directorist theme to as a property listing website, but i need a plugin that can display the prices in different currencies. Is this something your plugin offers?
Can you provide me with a trial version of your plugin? I am a developer of an extension for Woocommerce and I am making it compatible with your plugin.

Hi there,
What shall I buy if I used Avada and Woocommerce?
Best,

Hello,
it depends on how many site you plan to use it, if it’s just one, the Multilingual CMS will be enough.
Is this plugin for one time purchase option available?

Is there any free version to test the plugin before buying wpml plugin?

May I have a quotation for Multilingual CMS?
We will need it to start approval and payment process within the company.
Thank you,

Hello,
Multilingual CMS is 99€, as you can see in our pricing page.
We have been on the legacy 3 website plan for many years now. We need an extra license so we need to do the agency plan upgrade. What will the new yearly pricing be and will we lose the legacy pricing?

http://www.test.com/es/ ← Spanish
http://www.test.com/fr/ ← French
http://www.test.com/de/ ← German
This would be the Hrefslang: And should be added in all pages.
Key rule: Every page must list ALL language versions including itself.
Does this plugin support yoast seo and Schema pro?
We have multisite wordpress;
we need below slugs:
http://www.test.com
http://www.test.com/en/one
here one is sparate multiside with this slug http://www.test.com/one/ . Is this possible to achive this slug?
Menu Section:
Does menu automatic translate?
Can we integrate multiple staging sites with production?
Hello,
By default WPML doesn’t add the language code for the default language, so that’s not an issue.
WPML is compatible with Yoast and it adds automatically the hreflangs where needed.
WPML supports multisite, however if your subsite address is http://www.test.com/one/ when you install WPML you’ll have http://www.test.com/one/en/, not http://www.test.com/en/one You may want to check our Multisite documentation here.
I have few more questions.

Hello, we don’t have trial version of WPML. If you’re a developer, please join our Go Global program and we’ll set up an environment for you.
