Hi,

I just use WPML to translate one page at hidden link
The translated page is at hidden link

Others seems to be OK. But the main menu is completed damaged in the translated page, totally different from the original one. Why? I have done nothing with the menu, just translate the title of the page.

Thank you for contacting WPML support. While you are waiting for one of my colleagues to take this ticket and work on it, let me provide you with first debugging steps or if I can perhaps help with the issue quickly. How are you inserting the menu into the page? Are you using a page builder template?

Also, have you translated the menu? You can go to WPML -> Menu Sync and synchronize the menu from the default language to the secondary languages.

The menu on the original post is inserted via "Appearance > Menus", I create the menu and set it as the primary menu.

For the translated post, I do not create any menu. I think it will continue use the primary menu.

Later, I have also translated the menu, which also caused some issues and I just describe it in another ticket https://wpml.org/forums/topic/copy-all-menu-items-for-another-language/

Hi ChongWei,

Thank you for contacting WPML support, I'd be happy to help you with this issue.

If you want to have the same menu on the translation page, please ensure all pages/posts in the menu items are translated. Then you can manually create a new menu in the second language (zh-hans) or sync the menu in WPML > WP Menu Sync.

Please follow the documentation https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/translating-menus/

While checking the debug info, I see that the WordPress Memory Limit is below the requirements. The minimum requirements are 128M, but we do recommend 256M and the debug information of your site shows it set to 40M. Please check this link for more details
https://wpml.org/home/minimum-requirements/.
You can increase it by adding the following code in your wp-config.php file, right before the /* That’s all, stop editing! Happy publishing. */ line:

define( 'WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M' );
define( 'WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '128M' );

After adding the code you can confirm that the memory was changed correctly from WPML > Support > WordPress > Memory limit.

Look forward to your reply.
Thanks
