Problem:
You are trying to add a menu and widgets manually to your website using WPML, but you encounter issues where the source text for the website name, menu, and widgets is not displayed in translation management. Additionally, when you add the menu and widgets manually, it results in duplicated menu and widgets on the original website, and they are not applied on the translated website.
Solution:
We recommend accessing the String Translation section and deleting any instances of the domain name related to the menu and widgets, such as:

admin_texts_ql_services_permalink

admin_texts_ql_services_permalink

After this, reload the page to allow WPML to rescan the frontend. The deleted strings should reappear. You should then verify both strings and use the "Change the language of selected strings" option to correct the language settings. Please check if the issue is resolved after performing these steps.

If this solution does not resolve your issue, or if it seems outdated or irrelevant to your case, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Background of the issue:
I am trying to add a menu and widgets manually to my website hidden link using WPML. I am following the documentation provided by WPML for translating widgets and menus.

Symptoms:
The source text for the website name, menu, and widgets is not displayed in translation management. When I add the menu and widgets manually, it results in duplicated menu and widgets on the original website, and they are not applied on the translated website.

Questions:
Why is the source text for the website name, menu, and widgets not displayed in translation management?
How can I prevent duplicated menu and widgets on the original website when adding them manually?

I've checked your Website here hidden link and I can see the navigation menu is translated correctly.

May I know where can I see the issue with your widget translation? Also, you can try searching for the strings using the string translation https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/string-translation/ and translate it from there.

While checking the debug info, I see that the WordPress Memory Limit is below the requirements. The minimum requirements are 128M, but we do recommend 256M and the debug information of your site shows it set to 40M. Please check this link for more details

You can increase it by adding the following code in your wp-config.php file, right before the /* That’s all, stop editing! Happy publishing. */ line:

define( 'WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M' );
define( 'WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '128M' );

After adding the code you can confirm that the memory was changed correctly from WPML > Support > WordPress > Memory limit.

Dear Mister Kor,

Thanks for instructions. I put the code to the wp-config.php file, but I would like to say that I have a lot of issues with WPML as WPML ignores website content, I have no idea why, but there are a few headers and texts which I couldn't find and I used all methods in String Translation. Since I finished translating the products, the original product pages have disappeared and the translations are not visible on the website.

I really don't think this plugin is a good solution if it causes us problems and material damage on our side.

Therefore, I would appreciate your help.

I will need to closely examine your website. Therefore, I will require temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to a test site where the problem has been replicated, if possible. This will enable me to provide better assistance and determine if any configurations need to be modified.

Please note that it is important to have a backup for security purposes and to prevent any potential data loss. You can use the UpdraftPlus plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/updraftplus/) to fulfill your backup requirements.

I've checked your Website and can see the empty product here hidden link . However, I don't see any difference even after deactivating the WPML plugin. Am I looking at the correct product page that you mentioned earlier?

If you're already familiar with Duplicator (https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/), please skip the following steps and simply send me the archive file you downloaded.

To guide you further, please adhere to these instructions:

1. View the Duplicator instructions video: hidden link

2. Consult WPML's instructions on providing supporters with a copy of your site: https://wpml.org/faq/provide-supporters-copy-site/

3. If the archive file exceeds 400MB, please use Duplicator's file filters to exclude cache, wp-uploads directory, media, and archive files.

Once you have the archive file ready, kindly share the link with us. You can utilize platforms like Google Drive, Dropbox, or similar for file sharing, as the snapshot file might be large.
