Hi,

Is the documentation you are following this one?
https://wpml.org/documentation/plugins-compatibility/using-wordpress-seo-with-wpml/

A general overview of what to do is:
- Enter you SEO values in the original language
- SEO values not specifically related to pages, title and meta description, you can translate through WPML -> String Translation
- Yoast SEO adds a SEO section available when editing pages
- After setting the SEO values for pages in the original language, those value will be available for translation in WPML's Advanced Translation Editor when you send that page to translation

This is a general overview and I haven't covered everything. Our documentation is more detailed and written in a user-friendly and easy-to-follow way, you should make sure you read the entire page.

If you have any more questions or doubts, please do not hesitate to reply.
