I have started to face the issue that the original WordPress header is displayed in the English version of the page, while in the original Slovak version, it is not.

I have not changed anything in the setup.

How can I remove it and use the same formatting as the original Slovak version?

Hi,

Thank you for contacting WPML Support. I’ve visited the club page and I can see the page title and date in the English language.

This issue usually happens when the page options' custom fields don't sync properly. If your theme provides page options to control the page layout then please open both language pages in edit mode and make sure the page options have the same values. If they have different values then please go to WPML >> Settings >> Custom Fields Translation section, search the problematic field, set that field to “Copy”, and save it. Then please re-save the default language page again to apply the changes to a secondary language page. I hope it will resolve this issue.

Here is a doc for more details:
https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/translating-custom-fields/

If the issue persists, please provide temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP Login info) to your site (preferably staging site), so that I can look into your setup and debug the issue.

Your next answer will be private which means only you and I have access to it.

=== Please backup your database and website ===

✙ I would additionally need your permission to deactivate and reactivate Plugins and the Theme and to change configurations on the site. This is also a reason the backup is really important.

Thank you

- I’ve checked for a possible theme and plugin conflict on your site and the issue is gone as soon as I deactivated the “Indeed Ultimate Membership Pro” plugin. I can’t find that plugin in our verified compatibility plugin list:
https://wpml.org/plugin/?wpv_view_count=120064&wpv-plugin-functionality=0&wpv_post_search=Indeed+Ultimate+Membership+Pro&wpv-wpcf-recommendation-flag=&wpv_filter_submit=Search

- It seems to be a “Indeed Ultimate Membership Pro” plugin settings or compatibility issue, please check the plugin Settings or please, ask the plugin author to join our Go Global Program: https://wpml.org/documentation/theme-compatibility/go-global-program/ in order to make the plugin fully compatible with WPML.

- Alternatively, you can try another plugin from this list: https://wpml.org/plugin/?wpv_view_count=120064&wpv-plugin-functionality=0&wpv_post_search=membership&wpv-wpcf-recommendation-flag=&wpv_filter_submit=Search which is WPML compatible.

Please let me know if this resolves your issue or if you need further assistance with this issue.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation

Hi,
I created the ticket a year ago - named: [Resolved] Ultimate Membership Pro plugin.
I have recalled it, and it seems that it was the same issue reported.
Can you please check with the localisation team if they can address the issue - in the past, they said they were not able to do it. Maybe something has changed

I also contacted the author of Ultimate Membership Pro plugin about this issue. They have responded like this:

After some research we've found out that the problem is coming with "url_to_postid" function is called. This is used into UMP system but is an official WP function and not a custom one from our plugin: https://developer.wordpress.org/reference/functions/url_to_postid/

So, it should work without any problem once is an official WP function, except if some if installed plugins does not overwrites or alter that WP function. Still, this is not something that we may control from UMP side.

So again, they say, that WPML shall be adjusted to follow WordPress standards. I am not developer, so I cannot comment on it, but want to resolve this issue.

The problem occurs, when i select Language name added as a parameter in the Language tab. On the other hand, when I was trying to change it to Different languages in directories, another plugin, Fluent Form, which I use for all site registrations, stopped working :(.

Sorry for the delay, it was my weekend (Friday-Saturday) and thanks for the additional details. I checked our previous conversation (https://wpml.org/forums/topic/ultimate-membership-pro-plugin/) and our team reached out to the 'Ultimate Membership Pro' plugin author. Unfortunately, the only current solution is to switch the Language URL format from 'Language name added as a parameter' to 'Different languages in directories.'

If that's not the right option for you, we can reproduce the issue on a fresh WP site and then escalate it to our 2nd tier.

I recommend using the 'Different language in directories' URL format. For Fluent Forms, you can check this thread: https://wpml.org/forums/topic/fluent-forms-translation/#post-10896121. Give it a try and see if it helps. Otherwise we can handle this in a separate ticket.

You may also ask the Fluent Forms plugin author to join our Go Global Program: https://wpml.org/documentation/theme-compatibility/go-global-program/ to make the plugin fully compatible with WPML.

Thanks for your cooperation

Hello Viliam,

We can reproduce the issue on a fresh WP site and then escalate it to our 2nd tier support for further review. Our compatibility team will try to see if there is a workaround and then try to reach out to the author of Ultimate Membership Pro to figure out a permanent solution to this problem, in that case cooperation of the author will also be needed so that our team can understand and fix the issue properly.

Please let us know if you are willing to reproduce the issue on a fresh WP site and to escalate it to the 2nd tier support. We are happy to help you as much as we can.

Thank you,
Happy Monday

Sorry for the wait, it was my weekend (Friday-Saturday). Thanks for helping out. I have created a fresh WP site for reproducing this issue and here is the auto login URL:
hidden link

1. Please install the Divi theme, Ultimate Membership Pro, and Fluent Forms plugin. Configure them as you did on your site, set a “Different language in directories” language URL format, and let me know if you face any issues with Fluent Forms in this setup.

2. Please note that we only need the above-mentioned theme/plugin functionality, you don't need to set up an entire website or clone your existing site. You can see more details here: https://wpml.org/faq/how-to-reproduce-issues-and-share-them-with-wpml-support/

3. Share the results and step-by-step instructions you followed to recreate the issue.

Thanks a lot for your help

Can we make it work with the setup - Language name added as a parameter? For this, the developer of Ultimate Membership Pro claims that you are modifying the behavior of the url_to_postid" function, which they use in their plugin.

It would be great if you could support this type of language translation.

Previously, I tested the functionality for Different languages in directories - in this case, the Ultimate Membership Pro plugin was working, but as I told you before - The fluent Forms plugin had issues + I have an issue with the redirection to the default language page via redirect.php.

My suggestion is to start with the setup of the environment - I will put there Divi, Ultimate Membership Pro plugin + Fluent Forms - with the Language name added as a parameter.

What do you think?
