After WordPress was automatically updated to version 6.3, the site became very slow: huge server load. Switching between menu tabs in the control panel started taking 40-60 seconds. Query Monitor shows page load time 35-40 seconds. The number of requests to the database is about 8000. About 7000 of them are requests from WPML String Translation. Updating WPML versions to the newest ones did not change the situation. |

Hello, I suspect there might be some issues coming from the server-side because the first time I tried to access the site I got an error, but then it worked fine (in the second attempt to log in). I can see the performance issue, but I'm not sure if it's caused by WPML because after deactivating all the WPML plugins the site is still very slow. I'd recommend you to: Could you tell me the results of the steps described above? |

Hi, It is not possible to restore the backup as it has over 6Gb. Please create a new backup and exclude the media library so it will take less space. I have set your next answer private so you can share the new backup. |
