This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is facing an issue where the text in the WPML Advanced Translation Editor (ATE) does not match what appears on the frontend. This discrepancy persists even after updating the content via ATE. The problem is suspected to be linked to the Speed Optimizer plugin, which might not be compatible with WPML.
Solution:
We recommend contacting the support team or developers of the Speed Optimizer plugin to inquire about its compatibility with WPML. If the plugin is found to be incompatible, suggest that the developers join our Go Global program, where our Compatibility developers will assist in making their product fully compatible with WPML at no cost.

If this solution does not resolve your issue or seems outdated, please check the related known issues, verify the version of the permanent fix, and confirm that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the problem persists, we highly recommend opening a new support ticket here.

Background of the issue:
I am trying to ensure that the text appearing on the frontend matches what is shown in the WPML Advanced Translation Editor (ATE). The client does not have access to the WPML settings to update the text as shown in the screenshot. URL: hidden link

Symptoms:
The text in the ATE is not the same as what appears on the frontend. The issue has occurred several times.

Questions:
What is the solution to ensure the text in ATE matches the frontend?

EDIT: "The client does not have access to the WPML settings to update the text as shown in the screenshot." The screenshot is missing, sorry.

***UPDATE: If I click the button in the screenshot, all of its content in ATE will be updated. However, the customer does not have access to this button, so they cannot fix it.

Thanks for contacting us.

I need to test this directly on your Website. Therefore, I will require temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your Website.

Please note that it is important to have a backup for security purposes and to prevent any potential data loss. You can use the UpdraftPlus plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/updraftplus/) to fulfill your backup requirements.

Your upcoming reply will be treated with confidentiality and will only be visible to you and me.

✙ To resolve the issue, I may need your consent to deactivate and reactivate plugins and the theme, as well as make configuration changes on the site if necessary. This emphasizes the significance of having a backup.

Also, please tell me where can I replicate the issue. Which page can I edit where the changes will not take effect unless I click on the buttons in the WPML > Support > Troubleshooting section you shared?

Thanks for your reply. I've translated this page hidden link and added the word "WPML" next to the title. Then, deactivating the "Speed Optimizer" plugin shows the changes instantly. I would suggest deactivating this plugin while you work on the site and only activate it once you're finish editing the site.

Hi Kor,

Thank you for your reply. I tested it myself, and it indeed seems that if the Speed Optimizer is turned off, ATE works properly. However, unfortunately, this is not a solution for us, as the client will not be toggling the plugin on and off. What could be the solution to this problem?

This website is enormous (with nearly 2,000 subpages), so disabling the entire cache is not an option.

Could this be a bug between Speed Optimizer and WPML?

Thanks for your reply. This could be some compatibility issue as this Speed Optimizer plugin is not listed here https://wpml.org/plugin-functionality/optimization/?wpv_view_count=7235227 as a compatible optimization plugin.

I recommend that you get in touch with the support team/developers of that plugin and ask them if the plugin is compatible with WPML.
If the plugin is not compatible, I'd recommend that they join our 'Go Global' program (https://wpml.org/documentation/support/go-global-program/) where our Compatibility developers will help them make their product 100% compatible with WPML for free.
