Background of the issue:
We rebuilt our website in Divi to facilitate easier translation, as the original site had hardcoded content. We had previously translated a significant amount and used 25,302 credits. We connected the two sites to share the translation memory and WPML account, as per the WPML article: https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/advanced-translation-editor/using-advanced-translation-editor-when-you-move-or-use-a-copy-of-your-site/. This setup should allow sharing of translation credits, memory, and glossary.

Symptoms:
After translating a page that was already fully translated on the live site, 200 credits were used instead of none, which was unexpected. The translation memory doesn't seem to be shared as anticipated.

Questions:
How can we access the translations already made?
Why isn't the translation memory being shared as expected?

Hello,

Thank you for contacting WPML support team,

I have the full report on all the credits you used since the start of your subscription : hidden link

I tried comparing a couple of translation between hidden link and hidden link, but can't help to find the content between the same pages as different.

Could you please share the example where the page used 200 credits? I could then check why this is occurring.

It could be a difference in content, segmentation issue or a bug, but I can't yet confirm.

Best,

Hi Ilyes,

I did actually include the example page that I re-translated in my original message to you, but your system stripped it out when it re-wrote my issue. Hey ho.

The page on the live set is: hidden link

The page on the dev site is: hidden link

You can only see the translation in the backend as it isn't live on either site, but both English-language versions are the same.

Thanks very much for your help in trying to resolve this issue.

Kind regards!
