Background of the issue:
We at WhyIslam have chosen WPML as our preferred tool for translating our English website. Our objective is to make the website accessible in as many languages as possible using your platform. As a starting point, we plan to translate the site into Spanish and French. We understand that this may require purchasing a few millions of translation credits.
Symptoms:
No specific issue or error message mentioned.
Questions:
What are the correct technical steps for translating the site one language at a time?
How can we arrange a conversation with a WPML technical expert to review the credit requirements and confirm the technical steps needed for this transition?

Hello,
The main issue with this task at the moment is, that our word count feature at WPML > Translation Management > Dashboard only counts the title and content of your posts and pages.
This means any custom fields, taxonomies, meta information for media, etc. are not counted, and in some cases that can lead to a word count 3x bigger than the one indicated in our dashboard.
Example:
Go to WPML > Translation Management > Dashboard.
Mark all pages, posts, etc. to send them to translation. Before confirming the last step on the page you will see the estimated word count. Multiply this amount by 3x and you should have an estimate of the credits needed to translate the whole site.
