I am trying to: ADOPT ELEMENTOR HEADER CHANGES THAT ARE TRANSLATED BUT DO NOT SHOW UP Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link I expected to see: hidden link header design but in IT, Instead, I got: instead I received the old header design with no visual change. Refer images showing this clearly and the fact I made translations on the Elementor header object. |

Hi, From the screenshot of the translation status, it looks like it is "In Progress". Let's try to do the following: If you can also provide screenshots of the translation pages that would help me understand the issue. Finally, from the debug information you supplied I can see that your MySQL version is lower than WPML's minimum requirement of 5.6. I strongly recommend you reach out to your provider and ask him to upgrade this to 5.6+. |

Re MySQL version, I just don't understand that and have provided feedback about that on another ticket with a title CPU 100% (or similar). For me that is an inccuracy in the debug info. Thanks for the other comments, I will look at it later. |

It may be an inaccuracy, although that is unlikely. After you try out what I suggested, please update me so we know how to proceed. |

Hi, thanks. I checked with Cloudways and made them check on the command line, not the front end like myself. The confirmed we are running Maria DB 10.4 for sissoo.com, so as shown they want WPML to check on your side why we get the wrong value in the debug info. Okay? |

Yes, looks like it is. Can you please upload the debug information one more time, just so we are sure it is the most up-to-date? Also, if I could have admin access to also take a look for myself, and to pass on to the development team if needed, that would help. I have set your next reply to be private so you can share credentials there. |

PS I am not sure where to load the debug info again. Can you just have a look when you are on the system? |

Regarding the menu, I couldn't find where it is created. Also, I may need to perform some troubleshooting steps. |

Hi Eran, the HEADER is found within Elementor's templates theme builder (refer attached highlighting this). It is named "Header home (with lang switch)" and from there you can switch to table view (refer attached highlighting this) and then you can see the view showing languages and translation status. Clear now? |

Perfectly, thank you. I searched for that (Header home (with lang switch)) template in the WPML -> Translation Management tab, and the translations were not complete. Please take a look at the screenshot and the French page, and update me if something is still missing. |

Good news. Before we proceed with other languages can you help me understand the other bits that are still not translated? Refer attached. I have re highlighted those things in the header still outstanding I think . Plus one thing on the homepage itself. Obviously I am new to all this, but if I were to understand this example and how to fix it, then I guess I should be right for most other scenarios (I hope). Thanks in advance, James |

Yes, of course. Let's go one by one: I believe this covers all of the untranslated strings. Please try implementing these steps to start translating the untranslated strings, and if you need any help after that or assistance implementing these steps, please reply here. |

Hi Eran, troubling and urgent is that the header "Header home (with lang switch)" and footer for the homepage seemed to have disappeared since sometime yesterday. Refer attached. When I look at the history it seems WPML was on it. Do you have any idea how this could happen? The word "Discover." was also changed to "Discoverd." which is how we first noticed this issue. Obviously it is urgent that this is recovered. BR; James |

Weird. The issue seems to occur only when signed in. I will try to see why this is happening, perhaps something related to caching. Please confirm that you have a backup, as I also want to check if some other plugin, perhaps the debug plugin, is related. |

I do have backups (as shown attached), however that is the last thing I want to do. Unless you have a silver bullet to recover this, I am okay to recover it myself I think as the header is complex - it has 3 sections as shown attached - one for logged on, logged off and mobile. |
