Please note that this is a known issue and our developers are currently working on this. Refer to the following Errata and ticket links for more details.
So please upgrade to the latest version of WordPress (6.7.1) and the plugins including WPML String Translation (3.2.16) after a full site backup {mandatory}. Then make sure this bug exists or not.
Thank you for the updates. Maybe you are getting these notices because of compatibility conflicts. So to make sure if possible, please do the following steps.
a) Backup your site first [Mandatory]
b) Switch for a moment to a WordPress default theme like 2024
c) Deactivate all the plugins that are not related to WPML
d) Then check whether the issue exists or not
e) If the issue is gone, activate the plugins as a group of three or four to find which one has an interaction issue
f) Switch back to the original theme of the site
Thank you for the updates. Please upgrade to the latest version of the String Translation (3.2.17) plugins after a full site backup {mandatory}. Then clear all types of caches and make sure the issue exists or not.
May you have to visit Plugins>>Add New>>Commerical tab and click on the *Check for updates* button to get the WPML automatic upgrade links of the latest version.
If the problem exists, please allow me to make a duplicator copy of your site using the Duplicator plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/) for debugging the issue on my local server. So we can troubleshoot the bug without affecting your live site.
Sorry for the late response becuase of the holidays. I had a few rounds of testing in my local copy, but not able to reproduce the issue exactly without any changes.
So please upgrade to the latest version of WPML (4.6.15 series) after a full site backup {mandatory} and upgrade to the newest version of plugins, including Elementor. Then clear all types of caches.
After that try the following troubleshooting steps after a full site backup{mandatory} and make sure the issue exists or not.
1) Go to WPML>>Support page, click on the Troubleshooting link (blue link in the middle of the page)
2) On the Troubleshooting page, please click on the following options of the *Clean up* section. Wait for confirmation of processing after each one.
- Clear the cache in WPML
- Remove ghost entries from the translation tables
- Fix element_type collation
- Set language information
- Fix WPML tables collation
- Assign translation status to duplicated content
- Fix terms count
- Fix post type assignment
- Cleanup and optimize string tables
- Show custom MO Files Pre-generation dialog box>>Generate .Mo files
If the problem remains, please let us know the exact steps to reproduce these warnings.
