This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: The client reported that translations were 100% complete but not showing on the respective language pages. The issue was observed with pages using the Divi theme and particularly with global modules, which are meant to be the same across multiple pages. The client had cleared all caches but the problem persisted.
Solution: 1. We identified that the 'Divi Module Builder' plugin was not compatible with WPML, which was causing the translation issues. 2. We recommended that the client contact the plugin's support team and inquire about compatibility with WPML. 3. We suggested that the plugin's authors join our Go Global program so our Compatibility developers could help test and make the plugin compatible with WPML. 4. Upon further investigation, we found that regular Divi modules could be translated without issues, but the problem was isolated to 'Divi Custom Modules'. 5. We advised the client to reach out to the plugin author to collaborate with our compatibility team. 6. The client discovered that the issue was related to the use of 'global' modules in Divi, which need to be translated from within the Divi library, not within the page itself.

I will need to closely examine your website. Therefore, I will require temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to a test site where the problem has been replicated, if possible. This will enable me to provide better assistance and determine if any configurations need to be modified.
Please note that it is important to have a backup for security purposes and to prevent any potential data loss. You can use the UpdraftPlus plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/updraftplus/) to fulfill your backup requirements.
Your upcoming reply will be treated with confidentiality and will only be visible to you and me.
✙ To resolve the issue, I may need your consent to deactivate and reactivate plugins and the theme, as well as make configuration changes on the site if necessary. This emphasizes the significance of having a backup.
I've inspected your Website and the page that you're referring to azibene.ch/romantik no longer exists.
Also, are you aware that your pages are using the "divi overlay" CPT name which shows up on the URL slug hidden link . I'm not sure if this is intended. Maybe you are working on something or do you have a staging site that we could check without interrupting your work?
Furthermore, when I compare this page hidden link with one of your German pages, it looks identical. hidden link . May I know what's broken?
Thank you. Sorry for the mistake. Currently these two pages show the problem:
Page : hidden link
URL of translation: hidden link
Page: hidden link
URL of translation: hidden link
The problem is recent, meaning older translation which have not been edited recently do still show. That's why you will find translations that look identical. You have to refere to the mentioned page please.
Here's a screenshot of the translation editor of the first page (packages_romantik): hidden link
- You can see 3 exclamation marks added to the translation. These don't show in the translated page
- Further the translation page marks the translation as 100% complete. However in the WP pages overview I still see either the edit pen and the wheel, which usually turn into these "circled arrows" when a translation is completed. Pls see here hidden link
The translation of the second page (packages_genuss) still shows an old picture although the picture has been replaced and according to WPML media translation the new picture should show: hidden link
I have now identified the issue. Upon closer examination, it appears that the Advanced Translation Editor is unable to capture the changes that are being applied.
For instance, I've inserted the word "TEST" at this location: hidden link, as illustrated in the attached screenshot. However, this alteration does not reflect in the Advanced Translation Editor as well.
Given that this is a multisite setup and you have network activated most of the plugins at this link: hidden link, may I request your permission to network deactivate these plugins? This would allow me to investigate whether there might be a conflict with any third-party plugins. Alternatively, do you have a staging site available that I could utilize for testing purposes?
We unfortunately do not have a staging site available at the moment. So disabling the plugins on the live website is a bit critical. Could I send you a package of the site instead for you to test locally? I would need a form to send you a download link.
I apologize for any inconvenience caused. I'm currently facing difficulties while attempting to import a copy of your website. Could you kindly consider removing any unnecessary files or media to reduce the overall file size? Alternatively, if feasible, could you create a clone of the site on another staging URL? This would allow me to investigate and escalate the issue more efficiently on your behalf.
I apologize for the inconvenience caused by the delays. Regrettably, I encountered errors while attempting to unzip the folder. Is it possible for me to install the Duplicator Pro plugin on your website, and could you kindly generate a package for me? This would greatly facilitate the process of importing it onto our development site.
Hi Kor. Two weeks ago I had to send a package to one of your colleagues and everything worked. So, I think it's easiest if you do your tests (disabling plugins) on the current live site. Please make sure to enable the plugins again once you're done. Since we're in rather different time zones, please let me know once you're done. I'll create a backup right now.
Okay, I will proceed to make adjustments directly on your production site and will make sure to reactivate the plugins that were previously deactivated. Please ensure that your backups remain up-to-date while we work on resolving the issue. I will get back to you as soon as possible.
