Learn how the Agency Partnership Program works, including how you earn rewards, what each tier offers, and how credits and points are calculated.
Earning Points
You earn 1 reward point for every 1 translation credit you and your clients use through automatic translation. This applies to translation credits used with any translation engine (PTC, DeepL, Google, or Microsoft).
This applies to both website translations and software translations.
Your point balance updates daily. The credits you spend today will be reflected in the point counter the next day.
How Sites and Credits Are Attributed to Your Account
For WPML sites: Points come from sites registered under your WPML account. If you build a site for a client (or yourself) using your WPML license, the translation credits used on that site count toward your rewards. If the client later switches to their own WPML license, that site no longer counts.
Both production and staging sites count, as long as they’re registered under your account.
For PTC for Software: Your clients need to sign up through your referral link. You’ll find this link on the Agency Partnership Program page in your WPML account. When clients visit ptc.wpml.org using your link, their account is connected to yours, and the credits they use count toward your points.
When Point Tracking Begins
When you enroll, you receive points for all automatic translation credits used since your last WPML account renewal. Points continue accumulating until your next renewal date.
For example: if your WPML account renewed on June 10th, 2025, and you enroll in the program on March 2nd, 2026, you’ll receive points for all credits used between June 10th, 2025 and June 10th, 2026.
When Your Points Reset
Your points start accumulating from the date of your last WPML subscription purchase or renewal. They reset with your next subscription renewal date.
Reward Tiers
There are three reward tiers. You reach them by accumulating the following points:
- Bronze: 500,000 points
- Gold: 1,250,000 points
- Platinum: 2,500,000 points
Once you reach a tier, it’s yours for that subscription year — your tier won’t drop even if usage slows down.
Tiers reset when your subscription renews, and you start fresh.

Bronze
- VIP support
- 20% discount on your next WPML renewal
- 300,000 complimentary translation credits for your agency site
Gold
- VIP support
- 50% discount on your next WPML renewal
- 500,000 complimentary translation credits for your agency site
Platinum
- VIP support
- 100% discount on your next WPML renewal (free renewal)
- 800,000 complimentary translation credits for your agency site
VIP Support
VIP support means:
- Your support requests are prioritized, so you get faster responses
- Your issues are handled directly by developers
Renewal Discounts
When you reach a reward tier, the renewal discount is applied automatically to your next WPML subscription renewal.
The discount applies once, to your next renewal only, and only to your agency’s WPML account.
If your account is set to renew manually, the discount will be applied only if you renew it on time. If your account expires, you will lose the discount.
Complimentary Translation Credits
The complimentary credits you earn can only be used on your agency’s own website. You specify which site this is on the Agency Partnership Program page in your WPML account.
These credits don’t expire, but they also can’t be transferred to other sites.
Joining the Program
To join, log into your WPML account and enroll from the Agency Partnership Program section. You can access this from your main Account page.
Only Multilingual Agency accounts are eligible. If you have a Multilingual Blog or Multilingual CMS account, you won’t see this option.
Leaving the Program
There’s no formal opt-out process, but you can simply stop participating at any time. If you’ve already reached a reward tier, you keep what you’ve earned:
- You have access to VIP support until your next renewal when the rewards reset
- Your next renewal discount still applies
- You can still assign your complimentary credits whenever you’re ready
How This Affects Your Clients
Enrolling in this program doesn’t change anything for your clients:
- Translation credit pricing stays the same
- Yearly WPML renewal pricing stays the same
Quality Guarantee for Automatic Translation with PTC
Automatic translations done through PTC come with a quality guarantee. If you or your clients are not happy with the translation quality, let us know what’s wrong. We treat quality issues as bugs and work to fix them. If you’re still not satisfied, we’ll refund your translation credits in full.
