[Resolved] Split: Sidebar on archive pages not displaying translated categories
This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: If you're experiencing issues where categories are not showing in the sidebar for certain languages on your site, it might be due to outdated plugins or themes. Solution: We recommend taking a backup of your site and database first. Then, update all plugins and the theme you are using. If the problem persists after updating, please contact us for further assistance.
Please note that this solution might be irrelevant if it's outdated or not applicable to your case. We highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If you still need help, feel free to open a new support ticket at WPML support forum.

Hello,
I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to the website to investigate the issue further.
You can find the required fields below the comments section when you log in to leave the next reply. The information you provide is private, meaning only you and I can see and access it.
IMPORTANT
Please be sure to back up your website and database before granting us access.
If you can't see the "wp-admin / FTP" fields, your post and website credentials will be set to "PUBLIC." DO NOT publish the data unless you see the required wp-admin / FTP fields.
I may need to install a plugin called "All In One WP Migration" to create a copy of the website so I can investigate the issue further.
However, I would also be very grateful if you could provide a staging site or a copy of the website from your server for this purpose.
If you have any questions about creating such a staging site, you can consult your hosting provider. Please note that WPML must also be registered on this staging site at https://wpml.org/account/websites/.
If you are unable to provide such a copy of the website for testing, please let me know on this ticket.

Kindly note that I do not work on Sundays and Mondays and until now I had no chance to do anything on the site. At the moment I can see the categories on the sidebar.
I have connected now and I see that many plugins are outdated. Please take a backup of your site and database.
I would kindly like to ask you to update all the plugins and the XStore Parent Theme.
If you still spot issues after running the updates, please let me know.

Thank you!
I am glad to hear that the issue is solved.
We recommend always keeping all plugins and themes updated to make sure your site remains secure. Not all updates include new features. Most of them have the purpose of fixing bugs and security issues.
