Hi, Kaz.

For the Tutor LMS emails issue, please see the other ticket you opened here:
https://wpml.org/forums/topic/tutor-lms-pro-emails-are-not-translating-to-the-users-language-secondary-languages-like-korean-s/.
As mentioned in the above link, we will need to replicate the problem on a fresh WordPress installation.

Answers to other questions you asked here:

Does WPML auto-translate pages like GTranslate, or require manual work/credit purchases?
In general, I would say WPML and GTranslate work differently. With WPML, you can enable the Translate Everything option, which automatically sends all content on your site for translation. More about this option, please read here: https://wpml.org/documentation/automatic-translation/translate-everything-automatically/

Realistic credit cost for 100,000 words × 14 languages? Are credits consumed again on page updates?

The credit cost depends on the translation engine you select.
PTC = 4 credits per word.
Google = 2 credits per word.
DeepL = 2 credits per word.
Microsoft = 1 credit per word.
You can learn more about our automatic translation pricing and use the calculator to get an estimate of how much the automatic translation will cost at the following link: https://wpml.org/documentation/automatic-translation/automatic-translation-pricing/. You can also learn about PTC, our own most advanced translation engine, here: https://wpml.org/documentation/automatic-translation/.

Can WPML run alongside GTranslate without conflicts?
To be honest, I don't think we ever tested this scenario. I can't give you a definitive answer on whether WPML and GTranslate can work on the same site. One thing I can think of that might be confusing for your site users is the need for two separate Language Switchers: one for GTranslate and one for WPML.

Regarding the refund option you asked about.
We have a 30-day refund policy. If you'd like to get a refund, please submit a refund request here, and we will process it soon afterward: https://wpml.org/purchase/refunds/
Please consider that you will lose the ability to use WPML and automatic translation on your registered sites.

Kind regards,
Itamar.

Hi Itamar,

Thank you for the detailed response.

After reviewing the credit costs (€420-700+ for our site)
and confirming Tutor LMS email translation is a known
unresolved issue, WPML does not meet our needs.

I've submitted a refund request as we're within the
30-day window.

Thank you for your assistance.

Kaz
