I was doing scanning for new strings using "theme and plugins localisation" after some time I have got the error and website got down. After page refresh it was up again.

We have detected a problem with some tables in the database. Please contact WPML support to get this fixed.

WordPress database error: Could not perform query because it contains invalid data.

As my colleague suggested, this may be happening because of the emojis in that text content. Please try the workaround suggested in the following tickets after a full site backup and let us know if it works well for you:
