This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is experiencing an issue where the translated Homepage Divi Theme Builder Layout, which includes a Body Layout and a Global Footer Layout, is not being applied to the translated homepage. Instead, the translated homepage displays only the Navigation menu. The client has been using a workaround by saving a Layout in the Divi Library, translating it, and then enabling Divi on the translated page to insert the Layout from the Library, but this requires repeating the process for every update.
Solution:
We recommended following the guide on integrating Divi with WPML, which can be found here: https://wpml.org/documentation/theme-compatibility/divi-builder/. Additionally, we asked the client to provide access credentials to the site for further investigation, ensuring that a full site backup is created beforehand. We also requested a link to edit the post layout in the original language to examine the configuration and its translation.

If this solution does not resolve your issue, or if it seems outdated or irrelevant to your specific case, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If further assistance is needed, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum.

Background of the issue:
I am trying to have my translated Homepage Divi Theme Builder Layout, which includes a Body Layout and a Global Footer Layout, applied to my translated homepage on hidden link. I have been following a mix of Divi tutorials, WPML support threads, and have also contacted support without success. I found a workaround by saving a Layout in the Divi Library, translating it, and then enabling Divi on the translated page to insert the Layout from the Library. This workaround requires repeating the process for every update.

Symptoms:
The translated homepage is empty, showing only the Navigation menu

Questions:
Why is my translated Homepage Divi Theme Builder Layout not applied to my translated homepage?
Is there a permanent solution to avoid using the workaround for every update?

Hello Carlos,

Thank you for responding. Yes, I know it well. I use Divi and WPML for years now. And it was working okayish. But something has changed because now I have this problem more and more often, and I struggle to find the root cause.

In the end I think some permalink or URL, or something is not right…

Hi there,
Thank you for your messages. I can see the different layouts in the post.

1.- Could you share the access credentials to the site in your next message so I can take a closer look at the issue? Also, please confirm you created a full site backup before sharing the credentials.

2.- I kindly ask you to share the link to edit the post layout in the original language so I can look at the configuration and its translation.
