Tell us what you are trying to do?
Automatic translate a new language on our staging site. How is this done correctly and how does it work in terms of credits etc?
I have tried to add the new language and have wpml translate it automatically but it kind of stalls with the number of pages/post left to translate and the notice of Preparing more content for translations.
It tells me we have No prepaid credits (not sure about this, but does it "cost" credits when working on a staging site)?

Hello here 👋,

Thanks for contacting the support of WPML.
I will do my best to help you.

Here is a documentation about our system, you only pay credit after using them :
https://wpml.org/documentation/automatic-translation/how-to-sign-up-for-pay-as-you-go/#:~:text=Your%20first%202%2C000%20credits%20are,to%20the%20WPML.org%20account.

Yes, it does take credit even on a staging site, but you can export all the translations you have made to your final website.
