This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is developing a site and needs a separate payment gateway for each currency. The gateway is custom coded, and the client wants to make it compatible with WPML's multicurrency feature.
Solution:
We recommend setting up your payment gateways in the Payments section of WooCommerce>>Settings, as these should be available for all currencies added via WooCommerce Multilingual Multi Currency features. For more details, please refer to our documentation on multi-currency support in WooCommerce.

Our developers have confirmed that normally any payment gateways configured should be available for all supported currencies. However, our documentation lists only the most common payment methods like WooCommerce PayPal Payments, Stripe, and direct bank transfers.

If this solution does not resolve your issue or seems outdated, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If further assistance is needed, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum.

Hello,

Welcome to the WPML support forum. I will do my best to help you to resolve the issue.

To help you faster, I've enabled debug information for this support ticket. Please see this link for how to get this information from your site and give it to us: http://wpml.org/faq/provide-debug-information-faster-support/

Normally any payment gateways you set up in the Payments section of WooCommerce>>Settings will be available for all currencies you have added via WooCommerce Multilingual Multi Currency features. Please refer to the following documentation for more details.

Hello Bigul

As you say, I also thought any payment gateways you set up in the Payments section of WooCommerce>>Settings will be available for all currencies you have added via WooCommerce Multilingual Multi Currency features.

But this is not the case as in the same article you linked it says:

WooCommerce Multilingual is compatible with WooCommerce PayPal Payments, Stripe, and direct bank transfers.

I'm not sure WPML is going to work for this.

Thanks!

Hello,

Thank you for the feedback. One request. It would be great if you could share more details about the Custom Payment Gateway you are implementing now. So I can consult with our developers to confirm it.

Hello Bigul

I developed a custom gateway for a Costa Rican bank. I would like to use it to charge in local currency and another for USD.

This is possible using other multicurrency plugins like hidden link, but I would like to keep using WPML

Thanks again!

Hello,

Thank you for the details. I have consulted about this with our developers. They have confirmed normally any payment gateways you set up in the Payments section of WooCommerce>>Settings will be available for all currencies you have added via WooCommerce Multilingual Multi Currency features.

We have listed the following line in the documentation because those are the commonly used Payment methods in WooCommerce.

WooCommerce Multilingual is compatible with WooCommerce PayPal Payments, Stripe, and direct bank transfers.

Therefore please proceed with the Custom Payment Gateway and feel free to ping us if you face any issue. We are happy to help always.
