Hi,

before your ticket is assigned to one of my colleagues, please allow me to walk you through some initial debugging steps. This will help speed up the support process.

If you changed the layout for example you moved blocks to another order or changed blocks, in the original language without touching the content, you need to update the translated pages.

For example, just re-send the page for translation and see if the content is there and just click save if everything is ok. If you need to make some changes there, do them and see if this can solve your issue.

Regards,
Andreas

Hi Anil Kumar,

Thank you for contacting WPML support, I'd be happy to help you with this issue.

Can you please let me know which translation editor you use to translate the post content before?
hidden link

I see there are some posts that do not lose the translation content in the Dutch language, for example, hidden link

It is possible that the content of that post was translated on your site (WordPress editor or WPML Classic Editor) so the translation content will not be displayed when you use the WPML Advanced Translation Editor (ATE). Please read more about this issue in the documentation
https://wpml.org/faq/why-arent-my-translations-showing/

Look forward to your reply.
Thanks

We have been using Advanced Translation Editor (ATE) from the beginning, but when we change the layout of the post type, all the translation is gone, there is no change in the content, before if we change the specific line, we needed to update that line only, but sometimes all the content is gone and it shows 0% completed

Hi,

Thank you for your feedback.

As the suggestion in the chat session with me, please use the WPML Classic Editor to edit the current translation on your site.
Please read more about WPML Classic Editor in the documentation https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/using-the-translation-editor/

I hope I was helpful. Don't hesitate to ask if you find any problem along the way, I'll gladly help you.

Thanks, My issue has been resolved now, one more question, the classic editor stores the translation, but advanced translation editor doesn't, is it a glitch or it works like this? Thanks for your help.

Hi,

Thank you for your feedback.

As I already mentioned above: https://wpml.org/forums/topic/after-changing-the-layout-blog-translation-is-gone/#post-13524155

It looks like the post content is translated with WPML Classic Editor on your site (wp-admin) so the translation content is not available in WPML Advanced Translation Editor (our site).

Please read more about this issue in the documentation:
https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/translation-editor-options/
"If you switch to using the Advanced Translation Editor, any content previously translated using the Classic Translation Editor will not be visible in the Advanced Translation Editor. However, they will still be visible on the site’s front-end."

https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/advanced-translation-editor/
https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/using-the-translation-editor/

Let me know if you have any questions.
