Change default payment option per language/country? - WPML

thomasV-73	Hello, Right now, on the checkout page of my site,by default iDeal is selected(a popular payment method in the Netherlands). It is the default payment method because of the way I sorted the payment methods (iDeal is on top). However, outside of the Netherlands, iDeal is hardly ever used (except for maybe Dutch people who live in another country). Therefore I want to make it so that when you are on the French language, another payment option is selected by default. Is there any way to do this?

With WPML, you have the option to specify which payment options you want your customers to see based on their IP address or billing address (if they’re logged in). To adjust which countries a certain payment gateway appears in, go to WooCommerce -> Settings and click the Payments tab. Click the payment method you would like to adjust, and you will see the option to change the Country Availability: hidden link It should be enough to achieve the desired results.
