Chris

I am trying to:

Upgrade WPML from version 4.2.8 to the latest

Link to a page where the issue can be seen:

Currently working on the local environment.
After upgrading, the language is not being fed through to Timber/Twig templates.

Referencing another forum thread to reset WPML, I proceeded to Add/Edit Languages. On save I received the following error:

We have detected a problem with some tables in the database. Please contact WPML support to get this fixed.

WordPress database error: Could not perform query because it contains invalid data.

What should I do to resolve the above error message?

Hi,

before your ticket is assigned to one of my colleagues, please allow me to walk you through some initial debugging steps. This will help speed up the support process.

Can you please remove the emoji (rocket ) from the above string and try again?

"Your website could be much faster if it could take advantage of our %1$snew features and enhancements%2$s. 🚀"

This should fix the issue.

Regards,
Andreas
