I've closed with the X and refreshed the page. After refreshing I get "There Has Been a Critical Error on Your Website" error, but I can still login and and I see the WPML "Lost connection to MySQL server during query"

I often use the Duplicator plugin for this purpose: http://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/

I was able to remove the warning and also run the WPML trouble shooting actions.
Now I do notice there is still a random error 500 that happens in the backend every now and then. (Reloading the page a second time works)
