Hi there,

On this website: hidden link we've added 3 languages at the moment:

English (default)
Dutch
German

We don't want to use the Dutch language anymore, but instead we want to make it Belgium. I can't edit the language code, so I've added a new language. See attached screenshot.

So the following occurs: All my dutch content should be with /be/ instead of /nl/ and the dutch language need to delete after. Is there a quick way to do this instead of doing that manually for all pages/posts/portfolios items I have?

Hi there.

You should be able to use the WPML > Translation Management area to select and duplicate all the existing content from the language that you mentioned in the new language that you set up.

Create a full website backup first in case anything goes wrong.

After everything is duplicated, you can then remove the other language.

Please let me know how that goes.

Hi Mihai,

Thanks. That should work. Only, not all my content is visible on the Translation Management overview. Not all pages, posts and portfolio items are there.

1. Can you give me a few examples of pages missing? I would need the name.

2. I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to take a better look at the issue. You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. The information you will enter is private which means only you and I can see and have access to it.

Our Debugging Procedures

I will be checking various settings in the backend to see if the issue can be resolved. Although I won't be making changes that affect the live site, it is still good practice to backup the site before providing us access. In the event that we do need to debug the site further, I will duplicate the site and work in a separate, local development environment to avoid affecting the live site.
