[Resolved] Original Product information not shown on products
This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: You are working on a live shop and have noticed that the original Dutch product descriptions are not visible, although they appear when translated. Solution: We have reviewed your issue and determined that the visibility problem with the Dutch product descriptions is not caused by WPML. This suggests that the issue might be related to the settings or configurations within your site's default language or possibly another plugin affecting the visibility. We recommend checking the settings for the default language and reviewing any other plugins that might interfere with the display of product descriptions. If the problem persists, please visit our support forum and open a new ticket for further assistance: WPML Support Forum.
Please note that this solution might be outdated or not applicable to your specific case. We highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins.
This is the technical support forum for WPML - the multilingual WordPress plugin.

You have many of our plugins active without a need. Some of them are glue plugins to plugins that are not installed on your site, and some of them extend WPML, but you probably don't need them. Please consider deactivating the following plugins.
WPML SEO
Advanced Custom Fields Multilingual
Contact Form 7 Multilingual
WPML All Import
WPML ElasticPress
WPML CMS Nav
WPML ElasticPress
WPML GraphQL
WPML Export and Import
Ninja Forms Multilingual
WPML Sticky Links
We want to know why there was a fatal error when deactivating our core plugin, WPML Multilingual CMS.
Please share WordPress's debug log (not WPML debug information). Please check this page for instructions.
To enable it, open your wp-config.php file and look for
define('WP_DEBUG', false);
Change it to:
define('WP_DEBUG', true);
// Enable Debug logging to the /wp-content/debug.log file
define('WP_DEBUG_LOG', true);
// Disable display of errors and warnings
define('WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY', false);
@ini_set('display_errors', 0);
After this, repeat the action that causes the problem on your site. Deactivate WPML Multilingual CMS plugin. The errors will be saved to a debug.log log file inside the /wp-content/ directory. Then please share the errors with us.
