This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: The client is having issues with translating the queue, products showing as out of stock in French but not in Dutch, and the language switcher not appearing on the homepage.
Solution: 1. To understand how to translate the queue, we recommend reading our documentation on translating your contents. 2. For products appearing out of stock in French, we need the URL of a product that is in stock in Dutch but out of stock in French. Images added to a product in the original language should be updated in the translation using the translation icon. 3. If the language switcher is not working correctly, we have created a video showing the correct functionality: language switcher video. If the issue persists, please provide the URL where the problem occurs or create a video to demonstrate the issue. 4. The 'out of stock' message might be a false positive or outdated. Checking the links for Dutch and French should show zero 'out of stock' products:
5. The issue with the language switcher not displaying may be due to the theme's custom walker function. We changed the language switcher configuration to display flags in a list format, which resolved the issue. To further investigate, you can: - Create a full backup of the site - Activate a default WordPress theme - Change the language switcher configuration to show a dropdown and compare the results.
I just want todo the whole translation but links are broken in second languages-cant confirm translations or view them (languages)
no footer translation.
Is there a way to fix or start over? If i start over: do I loose all my credits and already done translations?
1.- I'm sorry but I'm not 100% sure of what the problem is. Could you describe step-by-step how to reproduce the issue on the site so I can have a better understanding?
Note: If you start over you won't lose any credits. The credits you used for translating the content are already used, which means that you will only keep the credits you have in your account.
2.- Please increase the WP memory Limit. Minimum requirements are 128Mb: https://wpml.org/home/minimum-requirements/
You can add this to wp-config.php to increase WP memory:`
1. strange, 404 is gone. but the footer is still in original language, second menu no images, all links in the footer are also going to the first language.
see attachment, first one was wrong img. view doesnt work, I cant approve all the translations there or do something in that menu. (related to the footer menu not translated?)
Note: I won't lose credits but the spend (credit) translations are lost because I need todo everything over. Correct? so thats not an option
Once you understand what part of the translation process you are stuck in (I'll be here to help you) then we will take the necessary steps to fix any issue related to WPML.
So, I kindly ask you to follow the steps I described above and let me know if you were able to solve any of the problems mentioned.
2.- No worries, I will be here to help you solve the problems on the site and help you to avoid losing any translation/credits.

Hi checked and did some but stll the translation in the queue stay in queue even after agreeing the translation. Under action a have view but that stays in a loop see attachment.
I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to take a better look at the issue. You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. The information you will enter is private which means only you and I can see and have access to it.
Our Debugging Procedures
I will be checking various settings in the backend to see if the issue can be resolved. Although I won't be making changes that affect the live site, it is still good practice to back up the site before providing us access. In the event that we do need to debug the site further, I will duplicate the site and work in a separate, local development environment to avoid affecting the live site.
thank you already.
but still I don't understand how to translate the queue: hidden link
also stock: i get the message that all the french products are out of stock, on the mainpage. Is this broken?
- if I add pictures to 1 product: is this also going to the french translation or should i alter both?
2.- Regarding products:
- Please share a URL of a product that appears out of stock in French but in stock in Dutch
- You just need to add the picture to the product in the original language and update the translation using the translation icon.
