I have an alert from Wordfence:

The Plugin "CMS Navigation" appears to be abandoned (updated Sep 9, 2020, tested to WP 6.0.1).
I have the same alert in other websites with WPML.

Should I remove it?
Thanks.

Hi there.

That plugin is doing what it is mentioned here:
https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/site-navigation/

The documentation was updated this year so the team considers that the plugin is still safe to use as long as there have been no code updates and as long as the plugin does just a few specific things.

If you need those features and if you are using them with your theme, you can keep it without any worries.

But if you installed it at some point but you did not use the features with the currently active theme, you can simply remove it.

You can also deactivate it for a moment if you are not sure and see if anything changes.

I hope that this helps 🙂
