Problem:
If you're trying to manually upgrade the Multilingual CMS in your development environment and facing issues due to a weak local connection that causes the upgrade process to hang and fail, setting your site in maintenance mode.
Solution:
We recommend downloading the latest version of the plugin from the Downloads section of your WPML.org account. After downloading, manually install the ZIP file on your site. For detailed instructions on how to manually update the plugin, please visit this guide.

If this solution does not apply to your case, or if it seems outdated, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Background of the issue:
I'd like to manually upgrade the Multilingual CMS in my dev environment. My local connection is pretty weak, causing the upgrade process to hang and fail, setting the site in maintenance mode. I want to upgrade the core CMS plugin manually by uploading the ZIP file.

Symptoms:
The upgrade process hangs and ultimately fails due to a weak local connection, setting the site in maintenance mode.

Questions:
Where can I find the latest ZIP files with the plugins?
