[Resolved] Split: Some taxonomies on your site are forced to be untranslatable
This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: The client was experiencing an issue where certain taxonomies on their WooCommerce multilingual site were forced to be non-translatable, causing an error message. This issue persisted even after disabling all plugins. Solution: We advised the client to perform a minimum environment test correctly by keeping essential WPML plugins active, specifically WPML Multilingual CMS and Strings Translation. The client should deactivate all third-party plugins and monitor when the error message disappears, then report back which plugin was last deactivated. Additionally, it was found that in WPML settings under Taxonomies translation, the settings for 'product_cat' and 'product_tag' needed adjustment.
If this solution does not resolve your issue, or if it seems outdated or irrelevant to your case, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Should you need further assistance, please do not hesitate to open a new support ticket at our support forum.
This is the technical support forum for WPML - the multilingual WordPress plugin.
Everyone can read, but only WPML clients can post here. WPML team is replying on the forum 6 days per week, 22 hours per day.
Now I got the message:
String Translation
In our technical support forum, we try to focus on one issue per ticket. Otherwise, tickets can get cluttered and confusing for both users and supporters. So, I split this issue into a new ticket. In this ticket, we will help you with the following message you get in the admin.

This problem is probably caused by the theme or plugin you are using. Please try the following.
We suspect a collision with the theme or another plugin might cause this problem. If possible, get your site into a minimum environment, switching to a default WordPress theme like TwentyTwenty-Four and having no plugins activated except WPML.
First, you must check if the problem persists when just the theme is switched to TwentyTwenty-Four (for example). If it persists, deactivate all plugins except WPML and its add-ons. Then, please check if the problem persists. If it does not continue, start by activating the plugins individually and checking when the issue comes back, then report to me which plugin was the culprit.
**** Important! Please make a full site backup (files and DB) before you proceed with those steps****
*** If your site is live, you might want to try those procedures in a staging environment or a snapshot of your site on your local server or another server. ***
You did the minimum environment test incorrectly. I'm sorry if I didn't explain myself well. Strings Translation can not be the cause of this message. The following plugins should not be deactivated.
WPML Multilingual CMS
Strings Translation
Please try the minimum environment test again when the above plugins are always active. Then, deactivate all the third-party plugins and notice when the message disappears. Then, tell us what the last plugin you deactivated was.
Regards,
Itamar.
P.S. Please note that my weekend is Friday-Saturday, and I'll be able to continue to check this issue and help you on Sunday.
Itamar,
I have disabled all plugins from my website. Message did not dissapear.
What should I do next?
BTW, it was totally stable. The only action that caused this "Error Message" was trying to translate a String that turned to be the "My Account Page Header"
