Hey. It doesn't seem to happen all the time (a good 50%) but wondering why when a page is translated the translated page template doesn't come along and it has to be updated manually. Is this a feature, bug, or am I missing a setting?
I can created a staging but wondering if this is an intentional feature with the plugin to always bring the original translated template to the page. It not bringing the original template doesn't happen all the time so recreating may not be super easy but happens enough to notice it's an issue.
How are the templates created, normally when translating, templates should be synchronized without any issues.
Can you provide me few page examples where we can see the issue, I suggest you to observe and leave the template when its broken so we can check what went wrong.
Further, To help you further on this issue, I would need further information, so could you please go to WPML > Support > Debug Information and give me the information in the next reply. You can read the detailed instruction here: http://wpml.org/faq/provide-debug-information-faster-support/
To debug this issue further, I would need to check your site settings once, for this I would need temporary access (wp-admin and ftp) to your site.
So could you please provide me with those details, you will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. hidden link
I am Bigul from the WPML support team. Shekhar is off today. So I am taking care of this ticket and hope it will be okay for you.
Thank you for the login information. One doubt. How you are managing the template for Identity Library Custom Post Type. Unable to find it exactly in the backend. Have you set it via your theme code? May I will be missing some settings? Please share more details for tracking this.
