Hello,
Can you please read and confirm if you followed this guide?
If so, let us know which Export & Import method you are using.
It would also be helpful if you could send us your exported file(s) so that we can take a look into them and maybe use them for running a test on a sandbox.
You can use a service like WeTransfer to send us a link for downloading the file(s).
1 i have entered all the products in english
2 exported the products using woo import export
3 translated the products and assigned the same _wpml_import_translation_group id and set the ar language for the products
4 import the arabic translation to woo
5 ran the wpml import export tool
each translated items have the same SKU but no connection between the translation.
i have attached the items csv file for your reference.
Please carefully read and understand the above guides. It is essential for a successful import process.
I've read what you wrote and reviewed your file. There are several things you did wrongly. I'll explain how to do it correctly now.
1. Your file contains the English and Arabic products. Since the English products already exist on your site, you should split the file into two files—one for English and the other for Arabic. (More about this in step 4).
2. If the product taxonomies (categories, tags, attributes) are not translated into Arabic, you must translate them before the import process. You can also translate them into a CSV file before importing the products.
2. You should fill "en" for the value of each row in the "_wpml_import_source_language_code" column in the Arabic (ar) file. It was missing from the file you sent us.
3. For values of the "_wpml_import_translation_group" column, you should fill in a unique value for each original English product and its Arabic translation. Let's take, for example, the English product "12# Set of 4 pcs Metal Mesh Stationery BLACK". For its "_wpml_import_translation_group" value, you inserted "804350". And for its Arabic translation, you inserted "804695". They are not the same, and this is wrong. This way, the products will not be connected to each other. You should use the SKU values for this purpose. You should insert "LND-DS12#-BLACK" for English and Arabic in this example product.
4. You should start the import process by importing English products. In the import process, you must select the option to update the existing products. Please see the attached screenshot existing-products.jpg.
5. Then, you should import the Arabic file. But this time, do not select the option to update the existing products.
6. Go to WPML -> Export and Import, and run the import.
If you follow everything correctly, it should work, and the products should be connected to each other. Please know that you can also connect the products manually. It is explained in this guide.
If things still don't work for you, please share a video of your import process with us. I usually use the free online service Loom - hidden link.
Regards,
Itamar.
