This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is experiencing issues with a 3rd party plugin widget not translating correctly. Specifically, the titles on product filters and the 'Search Products...' placeholder are not appearing in the correct language. Additionally, the client mentioned that posts set to publish when the original is published are being published prematurely.
Solution:
For the translation issues with the widget, we recommend duplicating the category filter and assigning the appropriate language to each duplicate. This method should help ensure that the widget displays correctly in each language. For the issue of posts being published prematurely, ensure that the 'Publish the translated post when the original is also published' option is correctly configured to match your scheduling needs.

If these solutions do not resolve your issues or if they seem outdated, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Should further assistance be needed, please do not hesitate to open a new support ticket at WPML support forum.

Thanks Kor.
Sorry but the option ' Publish the translated post when original is also published (default)' is enabled'. How can I avoid this in the future? As you might have seen, we have plenty of posts in draft, they are scheduled to be published. Also, the article in question was fully translated prior to publishing (manually)

Any news on the titles on the product filters? I've solved it on the production site by hiding the titles and adding normal headings instead. Also the 'Search Products...' placeholder on the search bar keeps popping up in english.

Thanks for your patience.

Could you share more information about the filter? Where can I see it and could you highlight it using a screenshot?

Also, I will need to closely examine your website. Therefore, I will require temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to a test site where the problem has been replicated, if possible. This will enable me to provide better assistance and determine if any configurations need to be modified.

Please note that it is important to have a backup for security purposes and to prevent any potential data loss. You can use the UpdraftPlus plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/updraftplus/) to fulfill your backup requirements.

Your upcoming reply will be treated with confidentiality and will only be visible to you and me.

✙ To resolve the issue, I may need your consent to deactivate and reactivate plugins and the theme, as well as make configuration changes on the site if necessary. This emphasizes the significance of having a backup.

Hi Kor,
You can use the credentials provided earlier. The staging site can be used and you can activate and deactive plugins as you like. The environment will be removed and refreshed after you are done anyway.

You can find the menu configuration under IKS Menu, I made 2 but now you can see 6, 1 for each language. Which is weird because the contents of the menu (a taxonomy) will show translated. Only the title doesn't show translated. On the production site I have hidden the title in the menu and put a separate heading block above each one.
IKS Menu claims to be WPML compatible and I was able to enable translations for the custom post type. I only had to translate the menu titles...

Sorry for the delays. Could you highlight it using a screenshot and also share the URL of the page in question?

It looks like the widget is from a 3rd party plugin. You'll have to use this method to translate it. The attached screenshot is what I've done. I've duplicated the category filter and assigned a language to it. Could you check?

Hi Kor,

Yes I arrived at the same conclusion. 2 options:
- Use your method and adapt the title
- Leave the title blank and put a normal Heading block above and translate it using WPML

Weird thing is that the taxonomie (the menu contents) do get translate. So we'll leave it on a bug in the 3rd party plugin?

In any case thanks for your help!
