This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
Difference between payment by use or payment by credits prepayment. I only want to pay one time. What you recommend me ?
Solution:
Explain how the pricing work
English: https://wpml.org/documentation/automatic-translation/automatic-translation-pricing/

And compare both plans :
Pay-as-you-go: You can translate as many words as you want, and receive a bill each month for the credits used.
- Prepaid credits: You purchase a certain amount of translation services upfront.

Remember that 1 word = 1 credit for Microsoft engine | 1 word = 2 credits for DeepL and Google.

Hi WPML;

Please I have a webside in 5 languajes already done (translation made by humans).
What I want to do now is maintain those translations but adding 15 languajes more with WPML translation automatically with IA.

Some questions:
- Difference in wordpress between wpml translation and wordpress translation ? (snap1)
- Means is mandatory to activate wpml translation to be able to translate automatically with wpml ?
- Problem is if I activate the wpml translations the yoast seo pluggin premium does not show the lights anywhere showing if I'm doing correctly or not (I have pages and products) and the tipical yoast panel disapears. We have following panel if we activate wpml translation (snap2). (but not he original by yoast).

- Means if I want to edit seo yoast part to see colours I should deactivate wpml translation and activate editor wordpress again ?

- Any way to be able to translate with WPML but at same time maintaining the panel of yoast in all translations ?

- I don't understand difference between payment by use or payment by credits prepayment. I only want to pay one time. What you recommend me ?

thanks a lot,
Gracias

Joaquín

Hello again,

To get high-quality automatic translations using DeepL, Google, and Azure, you need to choose a payment method. The price depends on how much content you want to translate, so we provide tools to help estimate the cost on this page:

English: https://wpml.org/documentation/automatic-translation/automatic-translation-pricing/
Spanish: https://wpml.org/es/documentation-2/traduccion-automatica-para-contenido-de-wordpress-con-wpml/precios-del-servicio-de-traduccion-automatica/

When selecting a plan, you have two options:

- Pay-as-you-go: You can translate as many words as you want, and receive a bill each month for the credits used.
- Prepaid credits: You purchase a certain amount of translation services upfront.

Remember that 1 word = 1 credit for Microsoft engine | 1 word = 2 credits for DeepL and Google.

I hope this clears things up.

Best,
