Deactivation of plugin (as advised by WPML in this ticket yesterday) results in ALL translations showing.

Please HELP urgently. I have reactivated the WPML plugins as attached in hope to repair this terrible situation and to provide debug info.

I am trying to:

View the services of our practitioners and instead of seeing just the English version. I am seeing all languages many many times. In addition the images seem to be duplicated for every service, so this takes up HUGE amount of space on our site.

I expected to see:
Only services in the language offered.

Instead, I got:
All services in every language many many times.
It seems to the advice from WPML to deactivate all plugins was very poor advice because now way too much content shows up.

Please HELP urgently.

Deactivating the WPML plugins brings up "no language" thus showing all the content as regular one. This of course displays content as multiplied.

If you activate WPML, then everything should go back to normal.

But I understand that's maxing out the CPU.

I'll request to copy the site to the Cloudways staging I provided in my previous private message. So we can start investigation and can provide a better solution, instead of experimenting on the production site and risking it.

Attached is an export of our products. Products ID 231800 to 233267 (1377 records) are in marked by WPML as English, however are simply not. These products were created by WPML and have caused a massive corruption of our English content.

Trying to recover now.

Re copying our site. Sorry no. There is too much sensitive data. We have a staging site you can use and we can provide access to if need be and once we recover from this terrible WPML experience.

Sure, a staging site would also work, as long as, the issue can be seen and observed there.

Please also confirm that if it is OK to create a copy of the staging site. This may be needed by our team to check, reproduce and investigate in another isolated environment.

No, it is not okay to copy staging.
FYA the impact of this known issue was around 1300 corrupt and useless translations that showed up as new English products/services....
It took 48 hours of intense work to recover from this.
We kindly request, at a minimum, a refund of all the translation credits consumed for these.
Please let us know what you need if anything to process that refund.

And I assume these are for hidden link, right?

Yes Sissoo.com. I am sure how many credits I am talking about. I have a CSV list of 1377 translated products that needed deletion due to the above issue. I can provide the list if you provide a way to upload a CSV file. How many credits each product translation use is not something I can easily work out. Can WPML figure that out based on the Product ID's and finding the related WPML Job?
