May this error is happening because of the compatibility issues. Have you enabled WordPress Debug Mode - https://wpml.org/documentation/support/debugging-wpml/ If so, please check whether the Debug.log file of the wp-content directory is showing any warning or error related to WPML apart from CRITICAL Maximum execution time of 300 seconds exceeded the error. Also please add the following line wp-config.php file of the site root directory and check is there any difference in the result - hidden link set_time_limit(300); -- Thanks! Bigul
