I tried upgrading to 3.1.16. Unfortunately, after upgrading to string-translation.3.2.16, the site displays error prompts.

Hi,

Welcome to WPML support. I will try to answer the question before the ticket is assigned to one of my colleagues.

Would you please deactivate the plug-in below as it is a legacy one and I do not think you use that:

WPML Sticky Links

After that, please follow the steps below to clear the permalink cache:

- Go to "WordPress Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks".
- Click the "Save" button to flush the permalinks cache.

See if it fixes the issue.

If not, please follow the steps below to check the minimal installation:

- IMPORTANT STEP! Create a backup of your website. Or better approach will be to test this on a copy/staging version of the website to avoid any disruption of a live website.
- Switch to the default theme such as "TwentyTwenty" by going to "WordPress Dashboard > Appearance > themes".
- Go to "WordPress Dashboard > Plugins" and deactivate all plugins except WPML and its add-ons.
- Check if you can still recreate the issue.
- If not, re-activate your plugins one by one and check the issue each time to find out the plugin that causes the problem.

Thanks.

Hi,

You can translate the taxonomies and slugs in WPML -> Taxonomy Translation. Please read about it in our guide about Translating Post Categories, Tags, and Custom Taxonomies

Itamar.

Hi,
I need to translate a summary page of job vacancies. Unfortunately it is not in taxonomy. How can I do this so that there is a corresponding URL for each language?

In EN and DE languages, it is not possible to set the page for job offers. There is a reference to the PL page. How can I set up different job overview pages for different languages?

Hi,

Is it an issue with the WP Job Board Pro plugin?

For your information, this plugin is unknown to use and not officially compatible with WPML. So, we might be facing a compatibility issue here.

Those features might be custom post types and custom fields that are not set to be translated. You can try to set them to be translated in WPML -> Settings -> Post Types Translation and Custom Fields Translation. Please read about it in the following guides.

https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/translating-custom-posts/
https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/translating-custom-fields/

Regards,
Itamar.

Hi,
This is a problem with the translation of the summary page for archive job offers. ‘job-offers’ is added to each language version and this cannot be changed.
Is it not possible to add this to the translation in the phrases to be translated?

Is WPML compatible with CF-7? because the form does not work in the language versions.
I am trying to send from (DE) asmo-solutions.de a form to email: sales-de@asmo-solutions.com
From (PL) b2b.asmo-solutions.pl email to: sales.pl@asmo-solutions.pl works fine.
I have the plug-in installed: Contact Form 7 Multilingual
I also have 2 emails connected via SMTP with the FluentSMTP plugin. The tests come out correctly.

What else do I have to change to make these emails work in the language versions?

Regards
J.Pilucik

Hi, J.Pilucik.

You asked: "Is it not possible to add this to the translation in the phrases to be translated?"

I don't know yet. But I'm also missing information. One key point I'm missing is what adds the ‘job-offers’ feature. Is it a plugin, your theme, or a custom code? I asked you if it is the WP Job Board Pro plugin, but you didn't answer my question clearly.

Please give me access to your site and explain in detail how to see this problem. I'll try to help further. I'm enabling a private message for the following reply.
Privacy and Security Policy
We have strict policies regarding privacy and access to your information. Please see:

About the CF-7 question. We focus on one issue per ticket in our technical support forum. Otherwise, tickets can get cluttered and confusing for both users and supporters. Therefore, I split this ticket, and for the CF-7 issue, I'll answer here.

Hi, and thanks for the access details.

It is important for me to share with you that the Job Board Pro plugin is not officially compatible with WPML. We've had reports about problems with this plugin and could not fix them from our side. There is a significant probability that this plugin will not work well with WPML. Since the authors of Job Board Pro state that they are compatible with WPML, I strongly suggest you also contact them about this problem.

Also, when I go to hidden link, I get a 404 page. Please see the attached screenshot. And when I try the main domain of this plugin, hidden link, I get a white screen.

Are you sure that the authors of this plugin still maintain it?
Where is it possible to download or purchase this plugin?
Please send me a link.

I'll do my best to help further, so please provide detailed steps to replicate this problem on your site. Or, even better, replicate it on a sandbox site. I created a test website with a clean WordPress install and WPML and set Polish as the default language and English as the second language. You can access it through this link:

hidden link

With this link, you'll be directly logged in.

Could you please install the Job Board Pro plugin and see if the issue is replicable on a clean WordPress installation?

Important! Do not import your site to the test site. We must replicate the problem on a fresh, clean WordPress installation.

Regards,
Itamar.

Hi,
Have you changed anything on b2b.asmo-solutions.pl?
All translations for English (hidden link) have changed to Polish.
This page was fully translated.
