This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is experiencing an issue where clicking the '+' icon in the language column of the pages list view takes them to the WPML Translation Editor, which they do not want to use. Additionally, navigating back without making changes still creates a blank page in the selected language.
Solution:
If you're experiencing this issue and prefer to use manual translation, which allows you to edit content directly in the WordPress editor, we recommend activating it by following the steps in our documentation: Using different translation editors for different pages.
Alternatively, if you would like to use the Classic Translation Editor, you can change this setting in WPML -> Settings by following this guide: Using the Translation Editor.

If this solution doesn't look relevant to your issue, please open a new support ticket and we will be happy to assist you further.

Is there any documentation that you are following?
This type of thing is not mentioned in any of your documentation
Is there a similar example that we can see?
No but you can try the steps im mentions:
1.Go on pages list view
2. Now in languge column you will see all language with plus icon
3. Now click on + icon of any language
4. Observe , it takes you to the aytomatic translation part which is not required
5. Also without doing any change go back you will see in list view that still that page got created in mentioned language
What is the link to your site?

Hi,

I understand you don't want to use the WPML Translation Editor (Advanced Translation Editor) once you click the "+" icon.

If you want to use the manual translation mode, which allows editing the content directly on the WP editor, you can activate it as described here: https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/using-different-translation-editors-for-different-pages/.

If you prefer the Classic Translation Editor, you can change it on WPML -> Settings: https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/using-the-translation-editor/.

Best Regards
Marcel
