I have a staging site: hidden link where I have WPML configured and it has translations that I have purchased using credits and I have spent around 700+ USD on those translations.
The current staging site has an issue with the "Woocommerce bookings". All the statuses were updated to "Canceled" when WPML was configured. I have fixed the issue on a different copy of the live website.
I want to create a new staging site on the server where I will copy the current live site and need to do the following on the new staging:
- Fix the booking issue and configure the WPML
- Move the current translations done on staging2.borneodream.com to the new staging site
After everything is done and tested, follow the steps above to add the new edits and translation to the live site.
The live site has products and bookings and there will be new payments done on it by users after the staging copy gets created so the complete site cannot be migrated. Can you please confirm how only WPML translations can be exported from the current staging and imported on the new staging and later on the live site?
Let me know if this is clear or if you need more explanation on this.

Hello,
We offer an add-on for the plugin WP All Import which allows you to import translation, but it will only work if you also import the original content using our add-on.
I have one more question regarding the translation. So as I mentioned before, I have a live site: borneodream.com, and a staging site: staging2.borneodream.com, and the WPML setup and translation are done on the staging site. The translations on my staging site were added from the paid service "Automatic Translation Engine" from WPML.
The staging copy was created many days ago and I have new orders and bookings on the live site so I can't directly migrate the staging to live since new orders will be lost.
If I migrate my current live site over to staging now, all those translations will be removed from the staging.
So my question is this: Since those were paid translations, can I get those back on the updated staging site again after the live site migration to staging from the WPML side instead of doing the translation export/import?

In this case, I would suggest that you merge both sites so that they share the same translation memory, glossary, and credits for automatic translation.
Once the sites are merged, you should have the translation memory of the staging site available on the live site, which means that if you open the WPML Advanced Translation Editor, the fields will be auto-completed and you will not get charged again.
