Hi there,
Thanks for contacting WPML support.

Please make sure that you're following our guide to translate the menus manually: https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/translating-menus/#option-2-translating-menus-manually

If this is not working, create a full backup of the database and website then go to WPML > Support > Troubleshooting page, and click the following:

- Clear the Cache in WPML
- Remove ghost entries from the translation tables
- Fix element_type collation
- Fix WPML table collation
- Set language information
- Fix post type assignment for translations

Then try again to translate the menu.

I fixed the menu's in the footer, bur the main menu is still not translated (can't add it)

Hi,

I checked the site and found that the Primary menu already exists in English, please see here: hidden link

To fix this kindly try the following steps:

1. Go to Appearance > Menus
2. Create the primary menu in the default language
3. Switch to English from the top admin bar (hidden link)
4. Select the primary menu (hidden link)
5. You'll see a dropdown where you can set the English menu as a translation of the primary menu you created in the default language (hidden link)

I don't know whats goes wrong, but i cant make it the way you wrote me. I even can't create a primary menu. I don't see the existing main menu???
Can you pleas fix it for me?

Hi,
Sorry for the late reply due to the weekend.

I deleted the English menu and created a new one with the same elements in Dutch then translated it to English.

Please go to Appearance > Menus, edit the English menu by clicking the pencil icon then add the English labels.
