You can synch taxonomies in WPML > Support > troubleshooting

thanks for getting back.

Can you please explain, how it doesn't work? What happens, is the process stuck or finishes but doesn't fix things?

Can you please confirm what seems to be your issue? Do you have taxonomies assigned for the post in default language but not in 2nd? Are these taxonomies translated?

If you have a staging site, I would suggest disabling all not crucial plugins and leaving only WPML plugins then running the next suggest option. As it could also be something interfering.
