Hello,
Because in some cases you don’t need to use all of them (depends on your needs) and we don’t want to add to your WordPress site features that will never be used.
Hi
If I purchase the Multilingual CMS version and after one year I will be interested in updatig to the Lifetime version, what will be the additional price?
Thank you
Hi,
I’m making websites for my clients and I’m thinking about purchasing Multilingual CMS Lifetime (perpetual licence). I usually advise clients to buy their own webhosting and WordPress paid theme (so it remains in their possession after my work is done and there is no need to transfer the licence of paid theme etc.). I also offer different consulting services and translations for websites.
My question is if I’m allowed to buy your plugin (Multilingual CMS Lifetime version) myself and use it on any number of my clients website (which are in their possession). I mean websites I create for my clients myself or websites for which I provide the translation only.
If I’ve understood correctly, there is no problem to buy it for me and use it on any number of websites (mine or my clients’) for free or commercially. Thanks for your clarification and have a nice day 🙂
Best would be to use a theme that already supports RTL, for example, if you visit the Avada theme page, you will see line: “Avada is Multi-Lingual / RTL Ready!”
Hi, I am interested in purchasing WPML for a site running on the (compatible) theme Listable. I have a staging site that I use for testing. If I set WPML up on my staging site, how could I go about moving it to my live site? Do I simply copy the plugin folder onto my live site, or would it be more complicated to export my setup? To clarify, I would also be using the String Translation module and the FacetWP plugin WPML extension. Thanks!
Hi Jacob,
copying the plugin folder is not enough, the settings sit in the database. Best is to use the Duplicator plugin. There are youtube videos explaining how to use it.
I am trying to translate my terms and conditions page into German. On my “pages” dashboard, I clicked the plus and put in the german content. I checked that it is indeed marked as a translation of the original page, and made sure that it was using the same template, etc. Everything looked good.
But when I went to the actual page ( http://www.wgeil.de/terms-and-conditions/ ), for whatever reason, the content in the other language always shows up in the header. If you scroll down, then you see the page as it “should” appear. Do you know why this is happening? My theme, Listable, is marked as compatible with WPML and I have not altered those files, so it is something with the plugin. Thanks!

What will be total cost for all plugins for woocommerce . can you please provide me quote
or can you provide with 5 to 10 days trail so that i can integrate and do POC post that i can buy plugin
To use WPML for WooCommerce-based sites you need to buy either the “CMS” ($79+VAT) subscription or the “Lifetime” ($199+VAT). All WPML plugins are included in both.
Hi George. That’s correct. You can upgrade from the Blog subscription to the “CMS” one (you will find an option to do so in your WPML account) and the CMS package includes all WPML add-ons. And yes, you pay the difference in purchase price.
Hi, I’m planning to buy the lifetime license but not sure if I need the addons, do I still have to pay for those? And if the answer is yes how much are those addons for WMPL?
We are a non profit Irish school based in Ireland attempting to promote the Irish language in our locality. I was wondering does your plugin cater for a website whose default language is Irish with English as a translation option. We have tried a number of Multi Lingual plugins but none seem to have Irish as an language option. WordPress itself doesn’t either. I do realise that we have to translate the text ourselves.
Thanks for the reply. it was actually the other way around I needed to do it. Is it possible to have the default language Irish and an option to have it English?
My initial query was deleted and not replied to for some reason. Can you let me know if this plugin will work for a website with Irish as the default language with English as a translation option?
“We are required by EU regulations to collect VAT. If you have a VAT number, please enter it. For businesses registered in EU reverse VAT charge will be applied.”
Explain that to me please. If i insert VAT number of my company i don’t pay the taxes, it’s that?
Hi, we bought WPML last week and paid thru Pay Pal. We followed Purchase Process, but after payment we didnt recieved any WPML account or any kind of confirmation in the email. Could you please contact me on the emaill adress above and send us WPML account?
Hi! how does this plugin achieve translation? our current plugin achieves it by duplication, the problem with our current plugin is that widgets created by the main plugin used on the site does not appears on translated pages because the duplication. Is this plugin the solution? is there a free trial?
Thank you for your quick response, however it seems like the question was misunderstood, here is a more detailed explaination of our problem:
Page A is a page in language A and it displays widgets created by the plugin.
Page B is a page translated from Page A in language B, however, the widgets displayed in Page A are not displayed in Page B since page B is a duplication of page A (we know this because we asked the developers from the plugin)
Our question is if this plugin achieve translation by duplicating the page.
When you translate a page using WPML you have two options: you can create a new blank page for a given page and enter your translation or you can duplicate the orginal page. If you duplicate, both pages will show the same content but for duplicated pages you can decide anytime to translate the duplicate independently. I’m not sure how you understand duplicating in your current solution. Anyway, you should be able to translate any widgtes with WPML. If none of the standard ways helps, you can always use this plugin: https://wpml.org/2014/08/display-different-widgets-per-language-wpml-widgets/ In other words, there should always be a way to translate widgets. If it turns out that none of the method we provide for translating widgets works for you, you can always ask for a return (you have 30 days) https://wpml.org/purchase/refunds-policy/
hello,
I would like to purchase the plug-in but one question. I see that you do not have support for Turkish language. But if my default wordpress language is Turkish and I want to use WPML for English translation. Is this possible? I use enfold theme, I read it is fully compatible with it, right?
looking forward to hear from you,
best
I am using Thrive Content Builder to make my pages and posts. They recommend me WPML to get a multilingual site. Not sure if Multilingual Blog would be enough, or I need to get Multilingual CMS.
I apologize in advance if this is not the place to solve my problem but I did not know where to do it.
I bought a WPML plugin license in 2015 and only used it on one site, when I tried to use it now for another site, it tells me that my license has expired and I do not have the right to make technical queries.
No one informed me of this matter when I bought the license.
Hi David,
our licensing systems allow you to use WPML for many sites. But you need to have an active subscription to ask questions on our forum. You subscription must have expired if you cannot post a new question there. You can renew it. Please log into your WPML account and you will see the options. You should be able to upgrade to the Lifetime version for $116. If you don’t remember your password, please use this link. https://wpml.org/account/lost-my-password/
If your account is still active, you should see $39. If you see $79 you WPML account must have expired. The discount price is available before your account expires. We also send notifications, a month before and a few days before it about to expire.
We are exploring options for translation of our website ( created with Kallyas WordPress Theme).
I would like to ask regarding the Account renewal per year – does this mean that, in addition to the initial purchase fee, we will have to pay a fee every year that we use the plug-in?
Thank you in advance.
Kind Regards,
Hi, we are checking your plug in but came across one bug.
Is WPML plugin compatible with visual composer?
We have the problem that all translations added via visual composer disappear.
Hello,
do you check the most recent version? (WPML Multilingual CMS 3.7.0). Yes, WPML is compatible with visual composer.

Hi,
Can I install wpml on a test website and domain, and then move the web site to a production server and domain?
Irek
Hi Irek, yes, you can.
Moreover, you can use WPML for all the sites you build, for all your customers/projects.
Why does this plugin come as multiple separate plugins?
Hello,
Because in some cases you don’t need to use all of them (depends on your needs) and we don’t want to add to your WordPress site features that will never be used.

Hey, can you recommend a landing page plugin for wpml..?
I made a comment here making one question. Did you remove that?
forget, appears again!
No problem, have a nice day.

HI
are wpml support automatic website mirror ( RTL Website ).
Hi Mohamed,
yes, WPML supports RTL-based websites but please note that your theme should also support RTL. If it doesn’t, you will need to adjust your theme so it does, please check details here: https://wpml.org/documentation/theme-compatibility/build-rtl-wordpress-themes/
Best would be to use a theme that already supports RTL, for example, if you visit the Avada theme page, you will see line: “Avada is Multi-Lingual / RTL Ready!”

does this plugin support woo commerce?
and for woo commerce blog license is sufficient 29$?
No, it won’t suffice. You need to buy at least the “Multilingual CMS” subscription. It includes additional plugins that are required to use WPML with WoooCommerce. Hi Will,
you can add many English languages, for example:
Code Name
en-GB English (United Kingdom)
en-IE English (Ireland)
en-JM English (Jamaica)
en-NZ English (New Zealand)
so you can select British English as your site’s primary language and then add the Irish as your custom language. This manual should help: https://wpml.org/documentation/support/editing-wpmls-languages-table/
Hi
Thanks for the reply. it was actually the other way around I needed to do it. Is it possible to have the default language Irish and an option to have it English?

Yes, of course.

Hi Samuel,
yes, you can translate widgets using WPML. There are different cases as it comes to translating widgets. This user manual will help: https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/translating-widgets/
We don’t have a free trial but our refund policy allows you to test WPML without any risk for 30 days: https://wpml.org/purchase/refunds-policy/

Hi Larisa,
yes, you need the Multilingual CMS package since it includes additional WPML plugins that are required in that case:

Thanks a lot Agnes,
Hello!
Why is this happening?
What solution do I have?
Hi David,
our licensing systems allow you to use WPML for many sites.
Hi Agnes;
The problem is that it does not allow me to update the plugin and I think it is not working properly
Hi I want to renew the anual package of $79 / $39 but the system just show me the full price and not the discount?
If your account is still active, you should see $39. If you see $79 you WPML account must have expired. The discount price is available before your account expires. We also send notifications, a month before and a few days before it about to expire.
Hello,
We are exploring options for translation of our website ( created with Kallyas WordPress Theme).
I would like to ask regarding the Account renewal per year – does this mean that, in addition to the initial purchase fee, we will have to pay a fee every year that we use the plug-in?
Thank you in advance.
Kind Regards,
Hello,
if you buy the Lifetime account you don’t need to renew each year. You can also upgrade to Lifetime later.
