hello
i want to sell predefined questions to my customer , so once they make the payment an ticket opened directly and he can then get support regarding the question he buy , is there any extension or plugin that
can help me to achieve that pleas ?
Hello,
I cannot answer your question – I don’t know if there are such plugins out there in the WordPress market. You would need to find a plugin for your needs by your own and then I can tell you if this plugin is compatible with WPML.
I don’t know how the plugin works. Please check this plugin documentation what are the requirements. If you see more than one WPML plugin listed, it means that you need the Multilingual CMS version. But you can buy the Blog version and if it turns out that it’s not enough, you and upgrade to the Multilingual CMS for the difference in purchase price, no problem at all.
WPML doesn’t detects the currency based on the country but if you have a multilingual (WooCommerce) store configured with WPML plugins, you can assign a different currency for each language.
If I purchase the Blog edition and later decide I need the CMS, do I pay the difference between the license types or do I need to purchase both types of license in full ?
WPML doesn’t translate your content. It allows you to run a WordPress site in several languages. You will still need to translate the content. Here are translation options with WPML: https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/
Are you still missing your login details? If so, please use our contact form, give us your full name and any information you have about your payment and we’ll check what’s wrong with your account. https://wpml.org/home/contact-us/contact-form/
The Multilingual Blog package allows to translate posts and pages. It doesn’t contain the “String Translation” component, which is needed to translate menus.
Hello Patrick,
The Jupiter theme is compatible with WPML and it has been tested by our Compatibility Team. You ask “If i install do you think it will work??”. It will work but making your site multilingual doesn’t come down to just installing a plugin. You need to set it up correctly and translate your content.
I just bought the plugin and now use with the testing sub-domain before launching on main domain.
So the site key I am using now is for sub-domain. When I transfer the site to main domain, do I have to change the site key for main domain? And by changing the site key, will all the translation and setting be gone? Do I need to translate and setting everything all over again?
The site key is only used to give you automatic updates of the plugin.
You can add and remove keys as much as you want and the site will still work fine.
I have a question about lifetime license. I’d like use WPML for the websites I build for my customers.
If I purchase lifetime license :
– Since it’s “unlimited websites” policy, I guess I can use WPML on my customer websites without purchasing additional license. Or should I purchased new license or additional license types per website.
– Can I generate a new key per domain or limit using license key on listed domains only to prevent unauthorized use? Or is there only one product key for entire lifetime license?
– You will NOT need to pay again per site. You will be able to use WPML for sites that you build for your clients, without a cost per site.
– Yes, you will (and should) generate a new key per each site (domain) on which you use WPML. These keys provide automatic updates for WPML on your client’s site, without exposing your login details to your clients.
Superb! I’ve just purchased lifetime license and I must say that I’m really impressed by the Site panel feature which allows to create an account per customer. I’ve been a fan of WPML for a long time anyways. Keep up the good work!
Yes, it’s exactly the same product. Only people with existing accounts can buy the upgrade. New customers without an existing account can buy the “Multilingual CMS Lifetime”, because they don’t have anything to upgrade from.
Hello,
You can continue using your old one. Please log into your WPML account, you will see a link to update and please continue your purchase from there.
Hello, you mean you plan to use WPML for a WooCommerce-based store? If so, you would need to you buy either the Multilingual CMS package or the Lifetime package. And then, yes, our WooCommerce MUltilingual plugin allows you to set up different currencies for your products. You can read more about it here: https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/woocommerce-multilingual/#multiple-currencies
1. Yes. It works the same as regular posts/pages -by default WP creates the URL based on your post/page title and you can edit it if needed.
2. It depends on which plugin you will use for generating your site map. Please check if it’s compatible with WPML. https://wpml.org/documentation/plugins-compatibility/
3. We are compatible with some of the Elegant themes (please click here) but I cannot see the Extra theme, which means you might have some issues with tranlsating some extra optionscoming from this theme.
I wonder: In the WPML Blog option the Plugin cannot translate site title and description. But title and description are metatags and they are covert in the SEO features, right? Or what is site title and description exacly in this point?
I’m sorry but this is not possible for technical reasons. You need to buy the CMS or Lifetime subscription to translate these strings. The way how these strings are implemented in WordPress requires special treatment and this is why you need to use the WPML String Translation plugin (which is not included in the Blog version)
Hi, as I am purchasing WPML for the first time I heard WPML planning to remove the lifetime subscriptions. Is this actually true ? If so, while I hope not, when would this happen ?
Yes, that’s true. It will happen soon, in a few weeks. I don’t know the exact date. Of course the customers who already have Lifetime subscriptions (or will buy before that switch happens) won’t be affected in any way.
We are using the “Screenr Plus” theme which has a front page with sections that are configured in the “Customize” interface, they are not actual posts or pages. Can WPML translate these as well?
Hello,
if your theme is compatible with WPML (please use this list to check it), then the answer is yes. You will need to use the WPML String Translation plugin which is included in the CMS of Lifetime subscription.
I currently have a website in both Spanish and English. When we first translated into English we created a second site for the English translation. Is there a way to implement WPML on the main site so we can have a multilingual site without using multi-site without losing the current ENG translations?
When you install WPML, all the posts and pages that you already have will be “assigned” to the primary language. In WPML setup you choose the primary language and then your secondary languages. So if in your current site you have also posts/pages that are supposed to be in the secondary language you will need to go through them manually and assign to the correct language.

Shall I set the default Language to traditional Chinese in A webpage? And, set the default Language to English in B page?
Yes, you can do so. Doing it the other way around is also possible in WPML.
Thank you
Hi,
To use WPML Redirect Based on IP Country plugin, “Multilingual Blog – $29” is supportable or should we need to buy “Multilingual CMS”?
And also we wanted to auto detect the currency with language. Is it possible with WPML?

Hello,
I have a question and I wondered if you can help :).
At my theme there is a button which is personalized in Customize section: http://prntscr.com/is1adc
Now text is the same at every language.
Will it be possible to change the text for different languages if I choose 79$ version?
Best regards,
Andrzej
Hello Andrzej,
I got a similar question via Facebook from Andrzej and answered the details. Was that you?
Yes, Thank you.
You’re very helpfull 🙂
Hi,
I read somewhere that you also have a special lifetime price. I don’t find any infos on the website.
Have a nice day
Mark
Hello Mark,
You can find the subscription types here https://wpml.org/purchase/ and follow the link to purchase for life from there.
Best,
If I purchase the Blog edition and later decide I need the CMS, do I pay the difference between the license types or do I need to purchase both types of license in full ?
Thanks,
Hello Jackie,
You are welcome to upgrade for the difference only (50$ more).
Best,
Hello,

Hi,
I just need basic translation of my site, for now. Will the “Multilingual Blog” package be enough, if just need to translate pages and menus?
The Multilingual Blog package allows to translate posts and pages. It doesn’t contain the “String Translation” component, which is needed to translate menus.
Hi,
How do i know it will be possible to translate with my template from Jupiter – Multi-Purpose Responsive Theme.

If i install do you think it will work??
My website to translate is http://www.purkombucha.ca

Is it possible to set Yoast SEO separately for al language? Or it can be set for main language?
You should install Yoast SEO on the site. Yoast SEO works great with WPML, so it will allow you to set the SEO meta texts per language. This page explains how to use Yoast SEO with WPML:
https://wpml.org/documentation/plugins-compatibility/using-wordpress-seo-with-wpml/
Hi there,
A client of mine will have different subdomains. Does she need a licence for every subdomein or is one licence enough?
Thanks a lot for your help.
Warm regards,

You (or your client) will only need to buy WPML once and can use it on the different domains.

Hello,
whats the different between:
“Multilingual CMS for life upgrade from CMS”
and
“Multilingual CMS Lifetime”
I know the price is different but is it the same product?
Andreas
Yes, it’s exactly the same product. Only people with existing accounts can buy the upgrade. New customers without an existing account can buy the “Multilingual CMS Lifetime”, because they don’t have anything to upgrade from.
hi,
I used to have subscription with this account, but it has expired. Am I entitled to a renewal or do I have to start over with a new subscription?
Hello,
You can continue using your old one. Please log into your WPML account, you will see a link to update and please continue your purchase from there.
Hi,
With this plugin, can i make it so that some products don´t appear on the translated page and the other way around?
Hello,
yes, that’s possible with WPML.
Does one single plugin handle both translation and currency conversion?

Hello,
I have several pre-sales questions:
1) Do each translated page gets its own url?
2) If yes, how does the system behave with XML sitemaps? Do all translated categories links, posts…. get properly referenced?
3) Do you know if WPML plays well with EXTRA theme from elegantthemes ?
