  1. Hello I mentioned it in an answer but after my payment being on hold you agreed to activate wpml but now I cannot download it because it says :

Your WPML account has expired. To download WPML and get support, renew your account

So did you cancel the whole payment and I need to solve this with paypal or is it just an issue? 🙂

  2. Hello,

I have one question before purchasing. You are saying that your plugin also translate posts. But how is it with that readability? If I am writing an editorial, how do I know for sure that the text will come out proper in another language? Just curious…

    Kind regards,
    Patrick

  3. Hello Support,
I have wooCommerce on my website,
is the plugin WPML Multi for woocommerce, can translate all the website or just the woocommerce content ( products.. )
I want to translate all of the website, how that ?

      • Thanks for your reply
so the plan : Multilingual CMS
The complete solution for multilingual WordPress

Included the WPML and the WooCommerce WPML ?
        79$
        and no renew needed ?

        • That’s correct, the CMS package covers both (actually all WPML plugins). Yes, renewals are optional and your plugins will continue working even if you don’t renew.

  4. Bonjour

    • Hello Patricia,
You need to activate WPML on the 2 sites, as WPML handles them separately, as long as they have different urls. You can register it on the production site and when the live site is ready, remove it and register the new url.

      Kind regards,

    • Hello Patricia, your activation key will remain active as long as your WPML subscription is active. But please note that the active key is required only for updates and our support help and your WPML plugins will continue working even without the active subscription. I hope this is what you’ve been asking about (you said production site and then again live site).

  5. Hey there,
I have a website translated to different languages which is in different domains so:
    https://www.miwebsite.es/
    https://www.miwebsite.com.br/
    https://www.miwebsite.com.mx/

I would like to add a blog to each domain inside a subfolder so they will look like:

    https://www.miwebsite.es/blog/
    https://www.miwebsite.com.br/blog/
    https://www.miwebsite.com.mx/blog/

Is it possible to do this with WPML? Can I have a unique WordPress on the three domains (inside a subfolder) where the content is translated through WPML?

    Thanks!

  6. Bought the blog-version to test but no “core” downloads to be found in the downloads tab?
Checked payment history: my credicard payment shows up but with status pending?
How long can it take to process my payment?

  7. Hey Agnes, thanks for the response.
The thing is that on that article they explain how to put the blog either in a subdomain or in a separate domain. My case is that I want to have the same blog in different domains but also in subfolders so my domains will still have the ecommerce but inside each of them I will have an additional blog (all of the will point to the same blog).
    Is that possible?
https://www.miwebsite.es/blog/ ->> will point to the blog
https://www.miwebsite.com.br/blog/ ->> will point to the blog
https://www.miwebsite.com.mx/blog/ ->> will point to the blog
    Thanks

    • Hello Tom,
“on that article” which article are you referring to? The one about using different domain names? Think about WPML this way: imagine you are installing it on one domain and let’s say you use languages as subfolders. Then, each version of your site has the blog page (see this wpml.org site as the example). This will work with WPML by default. And now think about changing the URL to a separate domain (so for example instead of mysite.com/es/blog you use mysite.es). In order to make this happen, you need to do the setup that is covered here: https://wpml.org/2016/04/use-wpml-different-domains-per-language/

  8. It seems WPML is the solution I need and would like to confirm that WPML can simultaneously support English, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese. Thanks, Jay

    • Hello, yes, you can configure WPML to support these three languages but please note that WPML doesn’t translate your content automatically.

  9. Hi,

I would like to set up Woocommerce in 3 different languages.
For each language the shop owner can only access/edit the products in that language.
Is it possible to have set up WPML so that each shop owner can only access products in one language?

    Thanks in adv

  10. i have a WP web template installed in my server, which is WPML ready acording to the seller. the seller requested us to buy the WPML plugin and install it

1, we have 2 sites http://www.syharvest.com and http://www.syharvest.com.cn, therefore i would like to know which package is suitable for me

2, we also need the plugin installed in our servers,

    please provide assistance to this

    Best Regards
    Rizan

    • Hello,
      1. You will need the “Multilingual CMS ($79)” package.
      2. Our forum supporters will help you to sort out your issues if something goes wrong but if you need someone to do the whole for you, you can hire one of the WPML contractors. https://wpml.org/contractors/

  11. Ok, thx!
So imagine that I use WPML to have the blog in different domains and subfolders. Is it possible to set a specific subfolder name for each of them so:
https://www.miwebsite.es/blog/ ->> will point to the blog
https://www.miwebsite.com.br/magazine/ ->> will point to the blog
https://www.miwebsite.com.mx/dddd/ ->> will point to the blog

so the post urls would be something like:
    https://www.miwebsite.es/blog/2019/04/{post_slug_es}/ ->>
    https://www.miwebsite.com.br/magazine/2019/04/{post_slug_pt}/ ->>
    https://www.miwebsite.com.mx/dddd/2019/04/{post_slug_es_MX}/ ->>

    • Hi again,
This is how you create a blog page in WordPress:
      1. Greate a regular page (e.g. news or blog). You don’t put anything inside it.
      2. Go to WordPress settings -> Your homepage displays -> Posts page and choose the page.
WPML allows you to create a given page in many languages. So for each of your languages, you repeat only step #1. You can even use the same slug for other languages (blog).

What I’m saying you don’t create the subfolder for your blog, WordPress does it for you if you follow the steps above. Then, in WordPress settings -> Permalinks you choose the way your single post will be displayed. As you can see there is no blog/year/month format, just year/month (Month and name).

WPML replies on these settings. If you need a custom structure that goes beyond what WordPress offers, you would need to look for external solutions but then I cannot assure you that the solution will be compatible with WPML. Better to stick to WordPress standards.

  12. Hello Agnes,

Sorry for the confusion, I have checked my credit card and it wasn’t debited for the payment, so I paid the subscription again and then I could download the plugins.
Another confusion: the plugin for the blog uses the same name as that for the full cms. I discoverd too late that string and mangement wouldn’t be there.
Please close my requests, I am quite happy testing everything now.

    Kind regards, Charles

    • No problem. If needed, you can upgrade from the Blog version to the CMS one for the difference in purchase price.

  13. Hello,

I will use WPML on 2 multisite projects. Each with one main URL and 5 to 6 translations on individual domains.
Would a CMS-Account be enough or is the Agency-Account needed, because of the +10 domains?

    Best wishes

    • If you use only one WordPress installation for all these domains, the CMS package will suffice. You can also upgrade to the Agency package later, if needed, for the difference in purchase price.

  14. Does your plugin support woocommerce?
If support, is Multilingual CMS package include it?
    or buy woocommerce separately ?

  15. If you use WPML on multisite, can you set it up like es.domain.com uk.domain.com etc. with this plugin, or is it all on one site?

    • Hello,
if you want to have languages available as subdomains you can use one WordPress installation (not Multisite) and then in WPML settings choose the subdomains option.

  16. Hi. I currently 3 websites running WPML and would like to add another one. I haven’t clear whether I have to purchase a Multilingual Agency Version or I can just add another Multilingual CMS version.
    Thanks.

    • Hello Pier-Francesco,
To add anoter site please upgrade to Agency. Your account has expired, if you log in you will see an offer to upgrade to Agency.
Let me know if you have any other question.

      Kind regards,

  17. Hello,great company

i want know the price WPML tool for CMS for life time or not and all future updates i use it in the future or not also

and if i want configure default language for specific visitors from french to appear for him without visitors change it manual i can do it or not

as other meaning i want when user from french visit my sites he will see your language directly and when other visitor from England he will see your language directly without change it manually by user hand

    thanks

    • Hello,
Thank you for your interest in WPML.
We don’t have lifetime subscriptions. You can buy one of the three subscription plans we present here: https://wpml.org/purchase/. Each price includes updates and support assistance for one year. You can cancel your subscription anytime and still use the plugins.

WPML allows you to use automatic redirections according to the user’s language set in his/her browser. Of course, you can use this option but please note that automatic redirections are often overvalued and in most cases not necessary. If your site offers quality translations, it will attract organic traffic for pages in the user language. So for example, if someone searches for something in Google in French, they will get a link to the French subpage not to the English one.

      • Thanks for ur reply

So for example, if someone searches for something in Google in French, they will get a link to the French subpage not to the English one. ?! what did u mean exactly please give me more explain

you mean if some one searches for something in google in french and me use WPML tool and the main language use is English and not use the automatic direction for French they will get a link to the French subpage not to the English on my website and they can change for other language as like.

        I wait ur reply
        Thanks

  18. Hello

Does WPML offer the ability for us to export our single language site language files so we can provide this to a translator who could then for example provide us with a german version we could import into WPML?

We have a client with an existing website in UK english who needs the facility to add languages but they have their own translator service.

    Thanks

    Paul

  20. Hi,
My name is Anissa and I am working for an international industrial company. We are currently on the lookout for a payment gateway for the woocommerce online store we are working on. We buy and sell world-wide, as will our E-commerce store.

We have a unique situation in which we have multiple bank accounts in differing currencies which we regularly use with our clients, thus avoiding conversions in sales for the 3 main currencies used for our sales. We have a bank account for Canadian dollars, one for Euro and one for American Dollars.

We are searching for a service which would enable us to receive payments in Euro online, and for it to be sent without conversion to our Euro bank account. Same for any money received in USD which would be sent to our USD account, and same again for Canadian dollars with our Canadian account, all directly without conversions.

I have read a WPML team member on another forum saying that you are currently working on a WPML for Woocommerce option which should enable us to preset different accounts or payment gateways depending on the currency directly using your plugin.

Is this feature already implemented? Would it fit with our own particular needs and to which payment gateways is it compatible? How would it work? Or do you offer another option which would satisfy our own peculiar requirements?

Thank you very much in advance for your time,

  21. I have a “Multilingual CMS for life” account. Why I get message that support expires in a few days?

  22. Hi,

I would like to know how the languages work, i mean I read that with wpml we can set languages like kn.site.com, is that a subdomain or subdirectory? if we use WPML should we have to add subdomains or just use within exisiting domain like site.com/kn or site.com/fr ?

Also if there is any demo version or something like that would be helpful to test it out.

    Thank you

    • Hi, both options are possible to configure: either subdirectories or subdomains. It’s easy and part of the WPML initial setup.
